The police weren't good at strange and obscure,they were a band that got their name out there by playing punkish music with a ska type sound on their early stuff like outlando's d'amour and zenyatta mendatta.This must have been their take on something like Syd Barrett would've written.Mother by Pink Floyd is the only song with that title worth a shit.
