  • Beautiful harmonics, Rick. I'm impressed.

  • i like it what key is it in

  • Key of G

  • Nice bite in this guitar, Rick. Amp setting or just the unit?

  • It's both I suppose. This Remington Steelmaster is a wonderful sounding guitar in any amp, and at this gig I was playing through a Peavey NV112 amp. The settings on the amp were normal, everything was set about 12 o'clock as I recall.

  • Very strong Hawaiian flavor (sound) with your tuning.

I have an older Remington D10 and it doesn't sound like that. In fact, it sounds very much like a pedal steel.

  • I bought this particular Steelmaster from Cindy Cashdollar. The pickups were custom wound with fewer windings which brings out the highs and reduces the low mids. That's why it sounds more like a single coil pickup, even though it isn't.

  • That Remington Steelmaster sounds amazing!

  • Thanks Skipper - I love the tone and playability of this guitar. Remingtons are great guitars, and this particular one is exceptional!
