Oh yes, and choosing brushless motor(s) over brushed will also reduce noise alot. Spending that extra buck for slow RPM brushless motor not having to use RPM reduction gears is also very much preferred. ESC obviously needs to operate at frequencies not audiable - all commercial do fortunately. Slightly oversized motor might also help, running it at 50% or so of the nominal for quiet operation.
There's a spray-on rubber foam available intended for noise and vibration supression. Some custom PC casings have this applied to their covers and it dramatically cuts down all noises. Single layer of this to the inside might do wonders...

they are not glued, so you can move them but in such a small model its not easy to install servos to move them with RC
