  • weird hobo below

  • You are one sexy geek!

  • i made my website from html and java script

  • @Walkthroughs14 You need CSS as well... any good developer would use styles as they save so much time.

  • I should also mention that there are some good open source web authoring apps available such as:

    Quanta Plus (Mac & Linux)

    - and -

    KompoZer (Mac, Windows, & Linux)

  • WYSIWYG kind of pointless, might as well just use text editors to be more efficient in coding.

  • There is a Notepad application for Mac too btw. It's made by neXtSoft and is free.

Since TextEdit doesn't allow plaintext editing (as far as I know).

Of course there's this really great app called Dreamweaver as well. But that's not free... unless you're torrent-savvy. ;-p

If you can afford it you should buy it though 'cuz it's awesome.

  • This is a great tutorial and is totally true. But the java/c++/c ect.. dont need to be used for server-sided only.

  • very well explain

  • Well presented.

  • awesome vid, thanks

    learning HTML/CSS stuff :)

  • I made an html page in firefox but its all mest up if I open it in internet explorer, do you know why?

  • good job!

  • You've answered all my questions about each of these three languages that I've been having for months!...thanks so much. VERY WELL TAUGHT.

  • If you want to learn about these three languages you can best go to w3schools[dot]com

They have excellent short tutorials to learn the core features.

  • This is an excellent overview for the novice web programmer. I'll refer my students this direction. Thanks.

  • Compilers are hard to explain, but its the thing that translates your code into a working program.

  • Absolutely correct, all you need for html, css, javascript and more is a simple text editing program and a browser to view your work in. Ruby,Perl,C,C++,Java and more are called server-side languages which require certain compilers for certain languages.

  • good stuff!!

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Javascript or Java?

These people need to be slapped in the face and told never to touch a keyboard in their life...ever.
