CCSVI Clinic Receives Joint IRB Approval for Aftercare Protocol Study.

The average salary/wage of a neurosurgeon vastly outweights student loans and debts. The average Starting neurosurgeon can expect to make 150k + a year easily. If its something you want to do, and can endure, do it. There are few neurosuregons and very few that actually want to become one. Plus medicine/healthcare careers are becoming the fastest growing job industry at this time. Reason: the baby boomers era is ending and there is alot less of us then the baby boomers, so healthcare is in need.
@TheEddysteady Forget Medicine if you want Money, salaries are decreasing for everybody in Medicine and if you consider the debts, hours worked, weight of studies, it's just not worth the ride.
Investment Banking, Management Consulting and Law coming from a top law schoop are the highest paying professions out there.
These are more effective at making it rain and you won't have to cram in University until you're 35...
sir , this is very helpful i wanna thank you for it .
the big question witch 90% of people like me talking about is : how much this long way will cost us , without country grants ... . i wish some one tell us an idea about .
Im Neurosurgeon and is not bad and the money is good........The rigors of education and training are arduous. The educational requirements include four years of college, four years of medical school, a one-year general surgical internship and six to seven years as a neurosurgical resident. A resident's first year is usually spent in research. Subsequent years focus on clinical patient experience, and include a vast number of spine cases.
Anyone who goes into this specialty JUST for the money is a bit crazy. There are other specialties out there that have equal, if not greater, salaries than neurosurgery. Plus, a lot of other specialties also have a better lifestyle. Dermatology, Orthopedics, Anesthesiology, and ENT come into mind. I'm not saying that Neurosurgery is bad, but it is only for people who are truly committed to the study and treatment of the central and peripheral nervous systems,
I agree with you,i know some family physicians in private practices billing over 600k/year...which almost the same income as a neurosurgeon...Going into Neurosurgery for the money is already impossible, since they ONLY take the ones at the top of their class, and they will see how motivated you are in the interview...if they see the "money making" attitude in your eyes, you're over.NeuroSurgery programs are designed to be a place where only the strongest survive.
This video helped me appreciate the great neurosurgeon that I have at Good Sameritan hospital in Portland, OR even more.
Good "bedside manner" and having a "kindred spirit" is very helpful when a Dr. is practicing...they should act as if you are the only person in the hospital.
does taking maths help in any way or iz just a waste of time and efforts

12 YEARS!!!!

try 16
jiclejicle0 2 years ago
@jiclejicle0 Many neurosurgeons pursue an additional one to three years of training in a subspecialty fellowship so with that it's up to 19
hoochis 2 years ago
actually its 14 after all studying, then if you add on a 2-3 year fellowship its 16, not 19.
jiclejicle0 2 years ago
@jiclejicle0 really? i was off.

Im thinking of becoming a surgeon but I want to know which is better. Neurosurgery or orthopedic surgery
GetaLifeMan1234 2 years ago
Don't worry about that yet. First you have to get into medical school.
rnvogel05 2 years ago
12 years!!!, but its worth because the average salary of a neurosurgeon is 675,000 yes 675,000$
