Well who wouldn't want to sing like Jonny? He is fucking amazing an I don't know any other vocalist that even sounds anything like him. Probably the most unique vocals I've ever heard. And everyone alters their voice on albums. EVERYONE. Some more than others and I guess it's just opinion on how good Craigs screams are. Everyone alters their voice in recording, some use it only a tad bit some use it a lot. It's all part of the mastering process. I have friends who have recorded and I know a guy that records bands, no one is going to sing a note perfect every time. Even if you are an amazing singer, there is always going to be a note or two that is a tad bit off

i sing classical music as wel and ive seen tons of singers sing their stuff perfectly almost every time. some bands need 2 learn their shit b4 they record it ive actually recorded stuff wit a band and acapella vocally 4 some choir events. ur sounding as if no one has the ability to record stuff perfectly without altering but u can just not alota bands have proper voice training. screaming and singing alike are things you should be able to do perfectly b4 recording otherwise dont :p
