  • @stickyicky420 I had the honor of calling ms. Maestas my girlfriend for a short time while I was incarcerated. She is not the monster everyone has said she is. She is a wonderful person so full of remorse. She did not kill that 3 yr old and she forever lives with the regret of her actions from that night. No one can judge her but God.

  • @Kristalynnegan I never said she was a monster. i just said to stab a 3 year old in your own family. I am not casting a judgment. I stated my opinion, thanks to free speech. If she did not kill the 3 year old, she held the 9 year old. She stabbed her own brother during the murder. She got the poor children to open the door to give them access to the trailer. So lets not judge her. Let this GOD do the judging. Also yes she will live with regret. Every time she sits in her cell.

  • Before anyone chooses to judge Monique, I urge you to get to know her and the type of person she is. Monique is a Wonderful woman and a total sweetheart. Mistakes happen and NO ONE knows what really happened, so before you Judge, clean out your own closets!!!

  • @Kristalynnegan Stab a three year old in your own family!

  • well, it's a bit more complicated than Oggy99 seems to think. It's not entirely clear what Monique did or did not do - the only eye witness to testify was Beau's girlfriend, who participated in nearly everything that night with the Maestas, but who testified for the state and got off scott free - after having supplied the knives at 1:00 am. Hardly an objective witness in my book.

  • lay a finger on a child and you have commited the worst crime possible, !

  • Well! if you have done some crime, you have to take your punishment for it. If you have killed or tortured a child, the punishment must be death penalty no question about it, thats only fair.

  • @globe255 And when a child kills a child? How about when a child is just present when another child kills a child? How old do YOU decide is acceptable for calling them an adult? When they're 18 or 21 like EVERY other situation in this country...or whatever you feel like, maybe 14 15 16 becomes a competent adult if its murder? Its outrageously hypocritical. No real justice can be done with contradictions like this in our society.

  • So Tamara's boyfriend was a drug dealer or did he do both (deal & use)?

  • How old is Monique today? Also, is Beau still alive?

  • as far as I know, Monique was 16 when she and her brother committed the crime and she must be about 22.

And Beau is still alive and is sitting in a prison at Nevada.

I watched a documentation on this last night.

  • Questions to consider:What did Sabrina Bantam do that night? What is the link btwn her testimony + her NOT BEING CHARGED? What did DA Roger gain politically from the case's outcome? What were Moe's MITIGATING issues-her age, childhood addiction + long history of being sexually abused? Why did Mosley force consecutive sentences-what does 47-to-life achieve 40-to-life doesn't? Did POLITICAL PRESSURES play a role there? Finally:DID MONIQUE BECOME AN ADULT SIMPLY BECAUSE SHE WAS TRIED AS ONE?

  • I have NEVER said Monique was the victim (in this situation, at any rate), nor that she did not deserve punishment. I said that she lost every CHANCE to live a decent life from a nightmarish childhood to a lifetime of incarceration. That her sentence is justified doesn't make the story any less tragic, does it? Don't confuse justice with simple angry revenge. They aren't the same. By the way, Belgium has a fraction of our murder rate. We could learn a thing or two from them.

  • So is Beau now dead? I searched the internet and didn't get any answer.

  • He's alive and will probably get a new penalty hearing soon.

  • Sad story, not only for the victims, but also Monique, given her background and her age.

I believe that a 16 yr old is not mentally capable of stopping a crime, and not able to realize the consequences when committing a crime, especially not when emotionally involved (brother). over here, in Belgium, juveniles (min 18) are not sentenced for deathrow or prisonned for life. How horrible the facts they committed.

At the end she pleaded "guilty", to get a deal ! which deal????

  • FUCK THAT. The bitch should be stabbed to death, 16 is old enough. what about the sweet three year old baby that the nasty cunt STABBED TO DEATH and her paralysed ten yr old sister?

people like u make me sick, making the murderers out to be the victims.

In America we believe in justice. Sounds like Belgium could take a page out of our book

  • ikat78: Ok,the murderer is not a victim and should be punished our treated...

But justice? you sound more like "an eye for an eye" to me. No second chances in live? No forgeving? I hope you will not need that in your live ! Belgium take a page out of your book???? wow! thanks but no thanks (nor do we need other pages, not much in that book to be proud of)

  • If anyone you watched the whole show, you'd realize Monique's life was like something out Dante's Inferno. Monique was given drugs by her mother, who addicted her. Her was sexually molested by three men before she was nine, regularly raped by her mother's boyfriend btwn 9 and 12. From 15-16, she was regularly given drugs/alcohol and sexually abused by her uncle. Now she'll be in jail from 16 to 63 years of age. I'd rather be the girl (who at least died quickly) than suffer what Monqiue has.

  • I find it disturbing that someone on here wrote "we dont know what happend we were not there" Are you freaking kidding me??? Its dumb ass people like you that make it ok for pieces of shit to commit crimes and it becomes the victims fault! The only thing that "Went wrong" is the girls knew they were in trouble and called out for help. Plug in the chair and save us some tax money!!!

  • My moms boyfriend is in this show, but so far he has done the pascual case and if you watch the episode you will see a James Aleman. That's him. Anyways, the story about this is that some lady was a meth head and she owed shit to Beau and Monique...since they didnt get what they wanted, they went after her kids and stabbed them multiple times. It's sick but its also stupid how a MOTHER was involved in meth.

  • cunt,i agree, plug in the chair, but even that is too humane for her....and to the numb nuts who suggests things "get out of control"screw you to,obviously dont have children,or your some left wing hippie bastard.

  • I am speechless and horrified watching this video. OMG! A girl and her brother hurt two innocent children! OMG! Sad state our country is in. Makes me ashamed to be an American.

  • She appears to show some remorse, whether or not that is because she got caught or because of the crime she committed, only god knows, despite all, she is a murderer that CHOSE to take the life of a poor innoccent child, she deserves everything she has coiming her way

  • Is this real?

  • What happens if my dad has already retired...Erf...

  • uhh...someone has to remind you what the fuck you did?

  • Plug in the chair.. That's all I can say..

  • DDDDZZZZZTT !

  • i don't know the full story but sometimes things do get out of control and shit happens i'm not saying it's ok to kill someone but we were'nt there and we will never know what really and i mean what really happened that day.And if shit has'nt ever just happened to u then u have'nt lived long enough give it time it will happen!!

  • Screw you arucardo man, that is just too much... even for spam

  • you idiot

  • It's about psycho methhead brother and sister who butchered two innocent young girls - Sundance are pimping the video coverage of the trial. Like I'd want to pay to hear about these sick depraved bastards. Death penalty should be automatic in these cases.

  • i dont get it
