my 2000 grand prix gt gets 32mpg highway at 75mph.

I test drove an 07 a4 quattro b7 2.0T and it was getting 32-33 mpg highway between 75-80 in 6th gear w/o cruise on. it was only turning at 2500 rpm at 77mph which is phenominal, plus its only 2000ccm. Site i pasted just b4 shows for 600 bucks you can be well into 350hp/350lbft range. 0-60 will be about mid 4seconds with that mod alone. be careful about voiding warranty, dealers can void it if they feel it caused the failure.

How much would it cost to make the 3.2L into a turbo ? (if it can be done at all)

If I remember right the 3.2L had a bit more HP. As far as turbo'ing it out, depends on what turbo you go for. Anywhere from 2-7 grand probably

Weak, u need a v6 cause u got turbo lag and that 0-60 is slow its 7.5! weakkkk even though gas mileage is decent{20-30mpg} I wouldnt pay that much and not get anything. And for all u haters i had the same car in black then traded it in for a v6 much bettter. trust me

The facts don't lie... I have a 16 gallon tank and on long roadtrips have gotten 610 miles before deciding I REALLY needed to put some in. I also have a Passport GT-2 G-Meter (which is where I got my 0-60 time)

I've seen people do 32 mpg with the Infiniti G37 on highways as long as those first 3 statements I mentioned were true. (G37 gets 26 mpg highway based on the manufacturers' sticker)

i have an 07 A4. it's fucking nice. and It's a 6 six speed. every audi is a 6 speed. At least I'm pretty damn sure they are. I have the tiptronic 2.0T.. the manual would be nice... but sometimes it's good not having to change gears all the tiime.

You could have been more in depth, but I like your topic and idea. Maybe you should have mentioned somethign about the powerband, shifter feel, clutch feel, how comfortable the seats are etc etc. I know when I drove the new GTI 2.0T, It was fun and torquey but it pissed me off that it loses power in the higher RPM's.
