Thanks for this vid I wasn't sure if the AcerGD236HZ was capable of 3D surround especially since their website stated that it wasn't. I guess their latest driver update allows you to do it through DVI-D. Good stuff :)

A bit of a noob question but switching from 2d to 3d would put more stress on the gpu right? Is it a lot of stress, would you loose a lot of fps? @zeewolsk pretty much depends on the game but with a 560 u should be perfectly fine in just about any game there is. for example crysis 2 only demands about 2 percent more of gpu power when u switch it to 3d

Adjusting the display bezels is not ideal for gaming either, an enemy might be hidden "behind" the edges of your monitor and bang, you are dead and you didnt see the guy at all.

@mybigtuba 3D Vision IS worth the investment, I love it, I always play in 3D, unless a game doesn't look right in 3D (most of the time the game will look at least decent)

Most people think you can only increase the depth tho, BUT if you go in the Nvidia control panel, you can unlock advanced options to do what is called "Increasing Convergence" and this will make the 3D experience much better.

I also suggest using 3D with the Buttkicker Gamer 2, and playing Bad Company 2 :-)
