Very nice! I have been in the 1/8th scale for quite some time now, but just bought one of these. I was wondering if you could tell me about your modifications to make it so much more efficient. The longer you can play, the better you feel!

Any info on the modifications would be great!

Terry - Can you tell me more about the wheel bearing modifications? My new loco arrives Monday and I want to be ready to make any needed adjustments. How is the boiler paint holding up with the heat? Any special type of paint used?

@WanesTrains We are thinking about a garden railway, but as we are considering moving in the next year or two we are holding off. So for now the garage with open door is it.

@terryrowsell jeez don't say that!!!!! lol,this hobby has me broke enough ;) there have been some custom builders whho have built radio controled excavators and cranes with actual working hydraulics,but its all off battery power
