He knows it. In a video where he announces his appearance on the Late Late Show he correctly tells Lucy was in the first season of the show. On Craig he probably just mixed it up, since the first season of Hercules was actually their second year. The first year was a series of TV movies. I think it's an understandable mistake.

I can't help but feel his chattiness was a little rude here. I guess he was annoyed that Kevin wanted to actually talk about his book but he kept talking over him which was disappointing because I actually think this could have been a great interview if Craig had just given Kevin more of a chance. Ah well, they can't all be Kristen Bell quality.

@sonablom I don't know. I thought he was allowed to talk about the book. Even when Craig asked about the title, and Kevin was going to just pass it off, Craig said he really wanted to know the answer and let him explain it.

@PerthTowne That's true, watching it again (purely for research purposes I assure you) I see what you mean. There's just the two moments at 4:00 and 5:17 where I thought they could have actually had some thought provoking discussion that used to be more prevalent on the show but instead Craig cut him off to make shingles jokes.

@sonablom Yeah, the singles jokes. I know shingles isn't funny--at all. But I think it's really funny the way Craig keeps telling just about every guest these days, in this really wide-eyed, excited way, "Hey, you know I had SHINGLES!!" I don't know, the way he does it just cracks me up.

He came on the show with an agenda, to sell more books. He doesn't realize that Craig doesn't do normal interviews where someone promotes themselves. I hate these kind of interviews with fake stuff.

@CouLesKy Suggesting that most other guests don't come on to promote whatever? Weirdly celebrities appearances on the show usually coincide with some kind of premiere, or release of something. Imagine that.

@Ribokt Correct, they do come on the show to promote something, however the good guests don't actually talk about what they are promoting. They have an actual, real conversation with him. Having a real conversation on a show that isn't like the rest of the late night talk shows where it's fake. hmmm imagine that, snarky prick.
