Hi all- ketones released by diabetics, and ketosis in dieting are COMPLETELY different. My daughter is type 1, and ketosis for her means a very different thing than ketosis for a non-diabetic. HCG'ers out there RELAX! Ketosis is a GOOD THING for us. NOT good for diabetics. Ok?
@CarolEnsminger i do know that as am a type1 diabetic but i find it very very stupid that you are making yourself have ketones is stupid and very silly diabetic or not xx
Carol on days that your ketones where high, did you see a greater loss on the scale the next day? I have heard it doesnt matter if you are a trace or high, that your body is still burning fat. What are your thoughts?
@CarolEnsminger I made this yesterday without the Mac nuts and I lost 2lbs after stalling for close to a week. Thanks! but should I continue to eat them today or tommorrow?
@nubianjoker I think it's okay to eat every day, in moderation, but you won't have losses like this all the time. check out the blog. we did a whole page on it.

@HcgKam I can only tell you my experience. I did abut 12- 15 mac nuts and about 3-4 Tbsp of the oil. Keep in mind that this is meant to break a stall and not for an every day intake.
Maybe someone can help me. I find that I do better in heavy ketosis, feel more energy, less hunger, better mood...etc,etc. The problem is I am having a hard time getting my strips to go above a weak or low level of ketones. The times I have felt the best was when I had the strips deep purple. I limit my carbs to less than 5gm a day, limit protein to adequate levels (20%), eat mostly fat. I am kinda stuck with the last 10 lbs (5ft7,160lb). Any suggestions are welcome.
If you cut the strip in HALF, you can get twice as much out of a bottle.
The amount really depends if you are drinking a lot of fluids. You are either in Ketosis or you aren't so if it is "small" or in the "large" is all the same.
Can we gave coconut & Mac nuts in Phase 2?

@TheAlana1988 My dad was also diabetic, so I don't take this lightly. most of us who are not diabetic barely see a trace on the stick. Thanks :)

@1moremacfan Right. It doesn't matter. even a trace will mean your body is burning fat.
