dude. this guy is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky. try coming to Canada and looking for old games. yeah we have them, but their freaking expensive!!! and you will never get a deal on them unless by some shear stroke of luck. and a donated power base converter! holy crap thats awesome!
nice vid man, here are some master system games you should realy look into getting.wonderboy 1-2 and 3,kung fu kid, quartet, battle outrun, alex kid in miracle world, enduro racer, impossible mission, new zealand story, super space invaders, these are some of the best games the master system has to offer.
p.s if you have a spare minute check out my 8-bit battles series i think you would enjoy it.
hey man today i came across your channel and i really love your videos awesome man u kick ass!
i still have my N64 and SNES i hardly have any games for them i still play them from time to time but i want to start collecting them again! because watching your videos inspired me to start doing that! so yea thanks..and one more thing if u could do a review or something involving the SNES and N64 that would be awesome! hope we keep in contact about retro gaming bro! keep up the good work.
@TheMarineMagic486 - I would say that really is up to which system you have an affinity towards. I actually think the Dreamcast is pretty fun to collect for and the games don't really seem that dated, even by today's standards. However, Dreamcast games can be difficult to find in the wild at pawn shops or thrift stores. My next choice would be the mighty SNES, as it was a great time for 16bit 2D graphics...and there are HUNDREDS of classic games for it. Have fun!
@TheMarineMagic486 SNES. I'm a Genesis fanboy, but I recommend the SNES for beginners. NES is great if you can find a working one, so if you want one, only buy from the best sellers, even if it's expensive. Also, verify that it works before buying it. SNES is pretty much rock solid, and I've never heard of any serious issues with it. I also recommend an Atari, either the 2600 or the 800/800XL computer.
That's pretty much my PSX library I had growing up--so many great memories. Outside a handful this dude stole from me in 7th grade, I have no idea where the majority of them disappeared to. Man! What I'd give to have them back...
Hey dude you should get Elder of the scrolls Arena its super rare now and hard to find well the cd is hard to find , but downloading it for free is easy
Every time I talk about the original tomb raider game, I always mention how I would jump off high cliff to see kroft crash at the bottom and cripple her body! I believe every gamer who has played that game got great enjoyment from her pain...!
I just started collecting ps1 games back in April. I'm so jealous, you got more games from a donation then I do from collecting for 6 months. Also jealous cause you got ff9, I had ff9 but my copy didn't work so i got ff8.
Man, I'm getting old. Classic RPGs on the Playstation? I'm thinking more Ultima, Wizardry, Bard's Tale when I think Classic... :-) Good info... Nice vid..
@desiv1 - Can you believe the PS1 was released 17 years ago now? So yeah...that's officially classic at this point...although I can understand what you are saying. I'm 40 years old, and Atari 2600 & C64 are my first gaming machines. Thanks for the comment.
I love Metal Gear Solid! I played that game when I was 6 and hated it because I didn't know how to play it, then a week later my uncle got me hooked on that game for the rest of my life. I am currently playing metal gear solid 2 at the moment and going to be picking up Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 and Metal Gear Solid 3 snake eater on the PS2 again
I want to be Tyler's friend too! Nice gift, wow. Interesting though, I JUST downloaded Xenogears AND Vagrant Story off PSN for my PSP - 2 PSOne RPGs I missed back in the day.
You should pick up the original Phantasy Star for the Sega Master System, now that you have it; it was ground breaking in a lot of ways, and holds remarkably well even now. Also, I have to mention that Xenogears is my favorite game of all time ;)
@xJACOBYORKx - Driver is fairly common and worth about $1 for the PS1. However, if you have the "Driver 1 and 2 Compilation" that was released for the PS1, that's kinda rare and worth between $10~$15
@sewageking0 I guess there is an HD remake coming of MGS for the PS3 next year! We'll have to see if they just jazz up the Gamecube version or do it from scratch. Thanks for the comment!
Me and a friend recently played through both 'Castle of Illusion' and 'Land of Illusion' for the Master System (funnily enough we also played via MegaDrive :) ). Great fun! Pick em up if you see those in the bargain bin!
Though I am a really new subscriber, I can tell your videos are always great quality, and I can appreciate that. Keep coming with these great videos and you really lucked out with some awesome pickups!
@MetalJesusRocks i was doing other stuff while watching the video, so i only paid attention to the action games, kinda missed the rpg ones.... another great video btw... always a pleasure when you bring out a new one.
Great pikcups dude, i love the ps1 games some real gems there :) Ive noticed the audio has changed in your latest vids, seems a lot richer and has a lot more bass. Have you changed how you record the audio?
@Snestastic - Yep, I upgrading my microphones and video camera: I bought a lavalier mic (which I'm wearing in this video) and in my Review videos I'm using a nice Audio Technica condenser mic for voice overs. I also bought a new Panasonic HDC-TM90 Camcorder, which has a better picture than the Flip, plus the stabilization is excellent!
Front Mission 3 is a great turn based strategy game. It felt like final fantasy tactics with robots. I loved Metal Gear Solid and Syphon Filter. I've been after Xenogears for a long time. Great pickups!!!
