In harness racing, far too many of us get caught up in the pick 6 carryover, the bad beat, or the Sport's perceived problems. This tribute is simply touching. I didn't get to meet Ethan, but I have met In Ethan's Honor on the backstretch, and his trainer (Mike Posner) shared the story with me. There are some truly great people in harness racing (Team In Ethan's Honor definitely among them), and I am fortunate to be part of this Sport. -JamesWR
I have been a friend of the Barrettos for many years. Unfortunately, I lost touch for a few years and never had the pleasure of meeting Ethan. He must've been a really special boy. This video really touched me and I promise I will try to be there for U Tom because I can only imagine what you and your wife went through at that time.
That was a very touching story. It seems like Ethan was a very special kid and had a significant impact on those around him. It seems fitting that his memory should be honored and that he be remembered by those who loved him and by those whom he loved.

Thank you for sharing this story & your gifts. I am always delighted when children and equines are paired up. There is a unique bond between human and horse especially with children. It is amazing what horses do for the human spirit.

In harness racing, far too many of us get caught up in the pick 6 carryover, the bad beat, or the Sport's perceived problems. This tribute is simply touching. I didn't get to meet Ethan, but I have met In Ethan's Honor on the backstretch, and his trainer (Mike Posner) shared the story with me. There are some truly great people in harness racing (Team In Ethan's Honor definitely among them), and I am fortunate to be part of this Sport. -JamesWR

I have been a friend of the Barrettos for many years. Unfortunately, I lost touch for a few years and never had the pleasure of meeting Ethan. He must've been a really special boy.
