Funny that Edge was actually right about Matt Hardy's career. There is a smackdown segment around 3 or 4 years after this where Edge (the WWE champion) was telling Matt Hardy that no one cares about him. And it was awkward because he said the same thing in this video and it's true. 15 minutes are over :/

@babygirlsrule4 Yeah but when someone you know and trusted for years does something like Edge did, obviously you're probably going to be enraged and do things you might regret. There's problems on both sides obviously. WWE was also wrong to exploit all of this, because then that gives the fans the power to start the abuse, when it's none of the fan's business. For example, people would terrorize Lita in the streets, and I think at some point she got egged.

@SpicyDragoon the story I thought was sad was of a little girl who'd previously been a fan of hers calling her a whore in the street :( Amy was heartbroken. She refused to pose in Playboy just because of those fans b/c they looked up to her. But anyway, Matt and Lita had an open relationship. Wrestlers are not normal people. Affairs and wild sexual encounters on the road are not uncommon; Matt's real problem was that Lita fell in love & wanted to leave him for his best friend.
