Hi there- thanks so much for this. I'm an opera singer, and want to get a tablet to keep pdf files of opera scores on- a lot lighter option. Have settled on a Xoom, and this ezPDF will be perfect for making notes on the music, which has been the main problem with keeping scores on pdf for rehearsal. THANK YOU!
Cool informative video. I've got ezPDF on my handset (Galaxy SII) and the developer it's really good, always bringing our new features every few weeks. It mutate changed and improved even more so since this video was recorded!
Thank you for this video review. I have all of my PDF files annotated in Adobe Acrobat on the Windows platform. If I open them using the ezPDF reader in an Android tablet, will these annotations still show up on ezPDF--or vice versa? ezPDF says it is compatible with Adobe, but I just want to hear from someone who has actually used it. I am planning to buy an Android tablet primarily for that purpose, so I need to make sure it works before my purchase. Thanks again.
also can you just save without it creating a new pdf? can you overwrite that page of the pdf and save it as part of the original file? PLEASEE NEED ANSWER!!
Nice review! Question: I like to use this for my scientific articles in dropbox which are linked to Mendeley. So what I want is to open the file, make notes/highlight stuff and that this is saved in the same file. How can you do this? It seems it only works if you make a copy of the file
Bought this on xoom after using iAnnotate for iPad. This product is horrendous, it is terrible by comparison. Just wasted $600 on a xoom, iAnnotate runs better on my 1st Gen iPad, runs smoother, no lag, ability to insert slides so I was able to write up my entire chemistry notes without using a notepad or anything. Maybe this is out of frustration but I am so furious after finding out NO APPS ON ANDROID COME CLOSE! I am seriously holding out for iAnnotate to be released for android.
Hi, nice review. I was exactly looking for these features and nice I found your video. Does a resistive touch sreen do better with a stylus and gives a paper pencil feel. Have you tried any tablets with resistive touch screen with easy PDF?
@tutysara I haven't tried any resistive touch tablets. I don't think they are better. The Tablet PCs that had resistive touch screen and a special pen that was meant for the touch screen, which increased the accuracy. So something like the HTC pen tablet is something where the pen is designed for the device is where the better pen accuracy is. Although i hear that tablet isn't as accurate as allot of users wish.
Is it possible to view powerpoint slides on xoom with transition effects, for example on my pc i can view them as slideshow with every time i press down key or space bar a line of text is revealed and so on. Its like revealing a question and then the answer , by hitting any of the keys(down arrow key or space bar). I bought the quick office pro HD but it shows the whole slide ! Please let me know if there is something i can do. Thanks
By far its the best PDF reader on the Android. The way to make it even better would be to allow you to export all of your annotations in one file like Goodreader on the iPad. Awesome app
First let me say I love your stuff! I could tell you were really thinking hard when you hit a speed bump and turned n-butanol into n-pentanol with a three bonds on the Oxygen. A well sh_t happens. Keep up the great work.
It's worth a shot. I'm also a computer engineer. I use ezpdf a lot to help organize and browse my documents. I didn't even think about using it for presentations. Great idea. I'll try it out on my next lecture. I'm glad you took my recomendation on this software.
I've been using ezPDF for a while on my Galaxy S. One thing I love about it (especially on a small screen) is being able to double-tap on a column of text and have it zoom in and snap to that column. Just thought I'd share this little tid-bit.

This app is amazing for students who has to read a lot of pdfs. It removes the need to print the pdfs and make notes which saves time and money!

what do you use to backup your files? I.e. can you sync to a laptop/desktop/online file-sharing, and if so, does it save all of your edits?
