nice video, thanks for sharing . heres a plan view of our latest mobile chicken coop as close to free range as you can get,,, see our channel for plans,,,,many thanks
This is a great coop! Good job. We're building our first coop right now and I hope we do it right. Chickens are pretty laid back, they will probably like it fine. No penthouses needed.
Just to say, maybe it would help to use hay in the nesting box, and wood shaving on the ground, they would go in the nesting box because it's more confertable for them. have a good one, nice coop!
This is plenty big for 3 chickens. Possibly even four. I don't move the coop but I do let the chickens out. You could make a smaller movable enclosure that can be moved around so your chickens can be kept in one place and safe from predators.
They didn't eat it so far. So I think it is safe. But it didn't hold up the way I thought it would so there is no reason to use the tar on the bottom.
I did not put wire on the ground. I'm not too worried about predators digging in where I live. If I see any signs of digging I will put some wire around the edges 12 or 18 inches out. Good luck with your chickens. I have found them to be great to have around.
i like reusing things. saves money

Thanks. I don't know how to accept your video response. It should be automatic. If it doesn't show up in a day or two send me a message.

Do you have to move the coop around? And if so how often? Do you need to let the chickens out of the enclosed area? Is this good for about 3?
