There is a BP station located at 31 and Forrest. It is across the street from the Cemetery and next door to Athens Bible School . The employees are mean in there . My advise is not to shop there .

i like that its a quie town. The only thing i ABSOLUTELY HATE about this town is that theirs all these retard country grown kids who one day bought a rap cd at walmart, then suddenly became these thug life wannabe gangbangers acting like their straight out of the hood. I lived in Athens Alabama for 12 years when i moved down from PA i didnt know what to expect but i really love the are people there the are friendly and they showed this transplanted yankee what southern hospitality i all about now that i moved back north to my original hometown i can trully say that i miss Athens i really felt like home and i someday hope to return for good
