Great videos.. Am a 25+ wood worker and still find your videos quite entertaining and I learn something with each.. Also, tell cameragirl that she has nothing to fear in front of the camera, she is quite lovely.
I enjoy watching your vid's and I find that if I watch and listen that I can learn somthing from each one thank you very much for your time.from okla.
I don't get bored. This is great! In most other video's the amount of information is reduced and the presentation is so fast that all you can do as a viewer is sit and be hit by the information shower. Sure you can pause a video, but than you lose the flow of it. Charles Neil is different. The pace is so that while you watch you can think about and digest what is shown. Different ways to do things, different applications, and most importantly WHY something is done a particular way. I love it!
Look, Charles has said from the beginning that this is a video series that a beginning woodworker can watch to learn to build a pie safe. As a woodworking teacher, I can tell you that you need to cover as much information as possible for comprehension. I am a teacher and professional woodworker, Charles is doing a fantastic job of teaching the necessary methods to build a pie safe. NO ONE is "bored". Charles, don't change a thing!
@jdgceg these are available from Woodcraft, the saw blade is a freud 60tooth made for a skill saw, they do work well, excellent for sheet goods as well
Thanks again Charles for your time and effort to put these videos together. Maybe you could do an executive desk for your next one. I want to build one for my wife and I. Interesting enough there is not a lot of info on building them. I will continue to watch your videos no matter what. ;-)
Great work you do Neil but why don't you do a project that's not in a million parts because people get bored. Just a little tip for you from a Yorkshire Carpenter friend.
@joinerkev well we have 2 confines first is the amount we can put here on You tube, and second the amount of time, we can devote to these ,we are a working shop and make our living friom the furniture we make,
Don't change the way you do your vids. You do a great job. A lot of information for a beginner in woodworking like me.

Can you tell me a little more about the clamp and saw guide? That sure looks like a quick and easy way to get accurate cross cuts on larger panels.
