So spoke Dr. Nikolai Dahl, of one of the pioneers of psychiatry in Russia, and in this way he successfully restored Sergey Rachmaninov's concentration during a period of creative despair after the failure of his first Symphony. Later, Rachmaninov himself was to write: "Even though it seems unbelievable, this therapy truly helped me..."

I seemed these films of Alexei Sultanov

are his final play on the 8th Van Cliburn

international piano competition.

However I thought that he had forgotten where he was. His great genius had exceeded over the level of performance for competitions. Judges and American

audience did not judged his performance

but only praised this outstanding pianist.

They were right!!
