I think the prince is really in love with her. For one, it wasn't fair for her to die for everyone, when Ormazd should of been there. Second, Arhrman was going to get out anyway, although Elika refuses to admit it, so her death would of been for nothing. Third, it is Elika, not Ormazd that will stop Arhrman, I believe.

I think it's a great ending. Very controversial. Makes you think. Most games, are kill someone, (boss) and the ending. Happy ever after. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

hahah I was kinda crying and asking myself WHY ??? while I`was running to break these trees and I had to laugh and to cry at the same time because it was so Ironic haha and when I broke the last tree I was like , you cannot be seriouse !! but the last scene where he was carring her away and Ahriman was free gave me goosebumbs !! thats was sooo AWESOME!

A descent ending doesnt have to be good, the fact that we're forced to destroy a beautiful scenery and peace just to bring back someone dead was sad yet cinematic

He had to bring her back.. Ahriman was goin to escape anyway. Ahriman wanted her dead, that way when he escapes no one could stop him.. so the prince brought her back, her death would have been in vain.. soo now, hopefully there another game, cause this ending is not exactly an ending..xD either is the DLC..lol

Epilogue just came out. I suggest checking it out if you want a different ending, but I haven't played it yet, only the main game. It costs $9.99 to download.

Yeah, I've heard about it. 3 hours of gameplay, some new combos, and new ending.

Instead of paying, I'd rather wait and check it out here on YT, since someone will certainly upload it.
