breath taking!!!! I can just see the coutless hours she spent pounding on the piano, and all that endeavour is reflected here. keep up the good work!!
@ticklemypickleeater3 The trick is the following: You fully focus to the left hand except for a few passages (con forza for instance) after a certain time, let's say two weeks, you establish muscle memory and you fingers automatically find the right places...
We worked on the inflections and rubatos - to give it a sense of "stretchy" and flexible rhythm. Rachel is also trying to shape the lines, and bring out the relationship between tones and harmonies.
Thanks for your compliments. Rachel has played this piece for a few months, and this was recorded a week before her competition for the Lakeshore Chamber Music Society Competition audition, which she came first in the Junior Piano Category.
Excellent performance ! Congratulations

Really love the way the trills are stretched out in the first section, shame about the recording quality:( How old is Rachel at time of recording?

You live in Montreal, Canada, you are saying.
This little girl is a Canadian girl?
Or a Japanese girl living in Canada?
I think, her performance is very excellent.

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. Rachel works on the colors of her tone, and aims to communicate the poetic sense of the music.
