Dude, you should have gone to a place call zeisco.com to get those edges down. I think you also need to have those lenses less square when you have a prescription that strong--peace

i assume you are looking to make your lenses thinner. You need to go to a frame that is not so wide... left to right. You need a frame where your pupillary measurement (pd) is equal to or less then the frame pd. (Geometric center of right lens to Geometric center of left lens.)

I would also recommend going with either 1.67 or 1.74 high index lenses. This combination will make your lenses as thin as they can be.

Why are you so about your lens, I have a daughter who is only 3 years old with high myopia -18D R, -18.5 L!!!! her glasses are thicker than yours, and she looks real cute with them. Yes, it is hard for me to see her that way, but at lease she can see the world clearly. Please be happy, and I am certain you look GREAT with your glasses. I am sure you are smart and a good looking person, have self confident. I never posted any comments to no one, you are the only one I wrote.

well, not really. I only have 8 pairs of glasses. but two pair of them is too old and useless.

Very nice glasses.Why do.nt you wear them so we can see how you look.Where are you living as you say that english is not your first language, My glasses are a little weaker than yours. Are you still getting increases or have your eyes stabilised?
