  • he was on tv

  • I had to walk through all that the night of the tornado. It was all like a bad dream, but the smell of gasoline and the bright emergency lights told me it was really happening...

  • somebody in our school was in there and his legs where hit by dibree and cut off the circulation in his legs..he had to go in the hospital and stay for months!

  • my friends go to that collee good thing they didnt have class that night thats sad for those ppl that got caught in that tornado that night

  • Man, this is crazy. I used to go there and it's just freaky to see all that you remember just scattered everywhere like that. Thank God no one was killed though.

  • my brother goes there...he is truly blessed

  • i live in lexington tn and we got tha same storm but not as bad

  • I heard it, but thankfully my building was spared.

  • I was there...and the amazing thing is that I and the rest of Union surived without a single death...do you need anymore proof of God? Give God all the glory!

  • i guy from my high school was trapped for 4 hours.he and i think 6 other guys ran from their dorm to the commons area or whatever and got into a basement bathroom.right before it collapsed.he had surgery a little while ago on his legs to stop the swelling or something like that.

  • this is heartbreaking

  • I things went as I wanted them to I would have been right there. My old dorm room is completely gone. It's a miracle that everyone's alive. I'm still in shock over all of this. I'm praying for all of you.

  • It is just amazing that nobody was killed on that campus.Everyone can be very thankful there.

  • Wow... I live in Henderson, which is about 30 minutes away from Union, and we got that same weather, but we didn't get a tornado. Jackson gets one almost everytime there's a warning issued there. I think it's amazing that none of those 13 trapped people were seriously injured, and it's even more unreal that no one died on the campus.

  • I can't imagine what it must be like to go through a tornado. Do you get warnings? Can you run or does it come on too fast?

  • we had about a 15 minute warning. i was in watters crook 1. thats the guys dorms. i was ducking in the bathroom doorway when the suspended ceiling began to fall and then the windows burst in. the power was out while this happened, which is good because there was a water line that burst in my bathroom, soaking me. i ended up stuck in my room for a while because the wall fell onto the door blocking me in. you can run, but the entire tornado lasts just a couple seconds

  • incredible

  • Im so glad my uncle didnt spend the night there

  • wow i just transferred from Union last year and I lived in Watters where the three guys were trapped... scary! my prayers are deffinately with yall

  • I'm so glad I live in Calgary

    You have our prayers
