I use the same method to put down the squirrels and I was told by a police officer that as long as Im not caught,its not against the law.If you get caught releasing them at the park,its a stiff fine so I choose what I call the last swim.It never lasts more than 30 seconds so I feel its humane.

Wow I live in haddonfield and have been living her for first 14 years of my life. Our town does not have squirrel over population problem. This is the perfect town for squirrels to live. I have never heard of or seen this man in haddonfield, but I wouldn't be too sure. The footage in this video shows that it was made about 4 or5 years ago

BRAVO, I'm in Lodi NJ 2 years ago I put over $75,000 in renovations,capped all the gutters. Not a tree near my house & they keep coming. The vermin seem to get in between the roof lines & gutters. I've shot/killed with a pellet gun over 25.This includes ones caught in my attic by the have a heart with others running on my roof. I trap them & shoot them. Always careful taking a shot outside. They are flea infested rabid vermin. I would never walk them though my house to drown them,shoot & bag!

I'm in NJ too (not Haddonfield) and I'd say we also have a TON of squirrels too. I don't think you can pass a house without seeing at least one on the property.

BUT I don't really see them as a huge problem to get worked up over. They make some holes yeah and you have to fence parts of the garden. (Rabbits around too)
