If anyone should replace Portnoy, it's Mangini. Their new album is my favorite, and Mangini is playing out of his mind. But. Portnoy is Portnoy, and he was a huge part of their sound. He's absolutely KILLING it here. Perfection.

It's from Dream Theater's Score: 20th anniversary dvd theres an option where you can hear just Mike playing. It's pretty cool i think.

After watching this I know why I don't like Dramatic Change of Pants or whatever it's called. This is Dream Theater, and without Mike, there is no Dream Theater.
