@theace I'm not referring to the specific roles of each carrier. I'm talking about the difference in fitting abilities and effectiveness. The archon clearly comes out on top even after the nid got revamped. The archon is stable with 2 local reppers and a set of remote reppers. The chimera is not even close.

@Rocklobster888888 There is a module you can place in the Medium slot of a ship called a Ship Scanner, through using this mod u can see the total cap of the ship you have scanned and the remaining cap left in it. Very frequently its fitted to the ships that are doing the Neutralising Eg Bhaalgorn/ Neut Legion.

@T3hAxle not exactly, it was a story element used to describe the procedure of analyzing the fight, and mathematically trying to figure out how they were able to have perfect damage at such long range. They essentially "reverse engineered" the data provided from combat logs, to determine how it was possible.

I've noticed that all of Rooks and Kings' setups in the videos are armor tanking setups. Is there some particular advantage that armor gangs have over shield gangs? Or is it just preference?

@majorhans6 If I have this right a nos modual will only deplete your enemies cap down to your own level. So if you have 3 neuts running and 1 nos what ever your level is in cap that should also be roughly their level as well.

So 3 Neuts will burn more cap than 1 nos can pull in. Gives a rough estimate. If I am wrong on this please clarify.

Eve Is EPIC. Losses are really lost. Modules and ships that die in combat are really lost. No respawning with armor damage at graveyard. Assets in game that your corp and alliance work together can be taken from you, destroyed or stolen or even forcing you into a situation where you have to destroy them yourself.

After that, I became skilled in pvp, and in one case I survived a total of two hours in a drake, a tackler frigate held me down,I couldn't hit it for shit cuz my missile skills were noobish,but then my buddies warped in and saved my ass.Thats when I got hooked

@BageImanman as you can see in this vid, they have 1 bhaalgorn vs 2 bhaalgorns but due to superior management the 1 bhaalgorn managed to silence both the two bhaalgorns and the triage carrier and later the moros, it's how these critical ships are managed that decides how a fight is going to go. in a straight up slugfest dps vs dps the outcome is much more predictable but even then it can still come out in favor of the weaker party due to superior flying and target priority

@BageImanman I think of it as a massive game of Rock Paper Scissors. Everything has a weakness, Some pilots are able to make up for those weaknesses in other ways. Either by spending a lot of money on modules and implants to make up for short comings or in tactics and play styles.

For example in the RnK fight you see 2 fleets of similar size, except A has 2 Triage carriers 2 siege dreads and 2 cap neuting ships, they should have won easily. But RnK tactics won out the day.
