  • Dating a sexy wife who is alone mworld5.info

  • I can't wait for Mastiff!

  • Girls can do anything men can do.

  • @Lioness567 yeah. but we can do it in high heels and tight skirts.

  • @bandgeek5195 I guess if you wanted to that you could.

  • OMG this helped my book author study so much! thanks :))

  • I LOVE Tamora Pierce! She is my favorite author EVER!!!!!!!! I've read all of her published books and I loved Terrier! Bloodhound was really good too! I can't wait until Mastiff comes out in 2010!!

  • I actually wasn't that thrilled with Bloodhound. It was good but not her best, in my opinion. I loved Terrier, though.

  • I thought she said to NEVER tell where you get your characters from?!

haha, its ok. Bekas cool enough that jodie foster shouldn't care.

  • My cousin got me hooked on the Protector of the Small...SHE KNEW ME SO WELL. I am now hooked. Her writing style is fantastic- suspenseful, compelling and thoughtful. I LOVE the message she's sending with all the girl characters and I dream of sending the message she's sending. I hope I'll write as good as she does one day!

  • lol i love it too i love how she makes the heros the female not just males love it love it love.............im writing a story and i pretty have a male and female hero heck ya

  • YES!

except for me it was the immortals, but now i've read them all

  • the second one is out this year WOO

  • I just read that book! lol I love her!

  • Tamora Pierce is my favorite author of all time. I LOVE her Tortall books...theyre way too amazing. I cant wait for bloodhound to come out

  • she is the second best author in the world, so talanted

  • RAOUL IS THE BEST!!!

    haha. blackie. pounce.

One thing about TP, she chooses the dorkiest [endearing] names ( which are slightly cliche) for animals: "faithful," "moonlight" "magewhisper" "happy" "peachblossom" (which, I always, thought was the root of his meanness. He's a MALE! Oh, and they gelded him. Took away his manhood! =P)

(I do love the name quickmunch and hoshi darkmoon though. Actually, I like all of the names. They're just funny if you really think about them.)

  • @GuitaRocker2 Nice theory about Peachblossom! I never thought of that though I love the way his name contrasts his personality, haha :) To be honest I don't like the Magewhisper, Moonlight type of names, it sound so.. I don't know, over-the-top maybe.

  • This is the first time I've ever heard Tamara Pierce get interviewed. She really does rule.

    Go Tamara Pierce!

  • Knew**

  • I am such a BIG fan of Tamora Pierce and I NEVER new how she got started! Well until now.....But She still RULES!!!! ^^

  • i love her books i get hooked on them they are so great

  • I adore her books! Rosto is definitely going to be my second favorite male character (right behind Numair).

  • It's pronounces THIGH-yet (with some searching you can find a whole list of name pronunciation on her website.)

  • she is sooo kewl!! read the alanna series and daine and keladry she is my best author!

  • MY IDOL!!!! <3 I LOVE HER!! I LOVE how she uses her characters in her other series!

  • She talks about it because it's a natural thing in life, especially the middle ages, which was when these books take place. I find your word choice very strange when complaining about that topic, by the way.

  • i reeeeeally love these books! it ticks me off though because everyone who has read the books loves them, but everyone else has never heard of them! i've read all but the circle books... they don't have the same feel i guess, tortall books feel more mystical i guess...

  • I found that I've read all of her books that take place in Tortall, and that, no matter how much I love Tamora Pierce, I can't bring myself to read her Magic Steps books or The Circle Opens

  • same here!

  • I agree! My favorites are going to forever by Alanna, Daine, Numair, and Kel... There are no substitutes, lol.

  • yes, my lit teacher had me read the kel books, which brought me to read some alanna books, and shortly after i discovered I had tried to read the circle books in 1st grade and gotten so bored i didn't finish!

  • I love tamora peirce best writor ever in my opinion^^ I'm anxiously waiting for the new beka cooper book and the numair early years book^^

  • I couldn't really decide which of the Tortall books I liked best, but I definitly likes the Tortall books better than the Circle of Magic series.

  • Really? I find her Circle books more enjoyabel and less mary sue-ish than the tortallan ones.

  • i find the complete opposite. i read magic steps when i was like 8, which might have been a bad idea, what with the beheading and murdering of children. i couldn't read tamora pierce for ages, but now i love her! (i just stick to the tortallan books)

  • I think the Circle books may be good for people who haven't read the Tortall books. I thought the Circle was good, but the Tortall books even better.

  • i'm a boy, and i love tamora books. well so far. i've only read the song of the lioness. i know that the books are more for girls, but i still like them for the stories. the adventure and combat are great. and there is a great amount of emotion and romance in the books. SHOULD i like these books? are they for boys too or just girls?

  • Of course your're allowed to like them! Tammay's an awesome writer and it dosen't matter if their aimed to wards girls or not. I recently got my 16-year-old brither to read them and he loves them. Read the rest of the books, their swesome!

  • thanks! i really apriciate you telling me. i started reading wild magic, the first book of the imortals quartet, and it's awsome!

  • i really appreciate it when guys enjoy "chick" books and movies read em all there great!

  • i like tamora pierce, but i'm not really into ckick flicks lol. and i was just wondering, should i read the protector of the small? cause i heard that they are the most FOR girls than all her other ones? is that true or not?

  • in a way yeh coz every1 noes shes a girl from the begining but not really at the same time too coz shes more tomboyish lol juss read them anyway and u decide

  • id say its the same as all the other ones. guys or gurls can read them

  • boys can read to and some seem to stop reading cause they think its uncool when it is sooo cool. keep reading. boys can read gurl books and boy books and any books just as girls can.

keep readin her books there fantastic ive read almost every one now.

  • thanks for the advice!!!! and i wasnt even thinking on stoping now. im started reading wild magic last night ( in my other comment i though i was going to start reading it that day but i got delayed reading eldest, lol) and its soo awsome! i got to chapter 4 last night!! i was up till around 1:30 :P .i like how allana is still in them. and alot. the lioness rampant had an awsome ending to it also! i fealt bad for faitful (i wonder where his home is(he said "well time to go home" but dont tell):P

  • I am a boy and frankly Alanna: the first adventure is my favorite book in the world! I have read every single book of Tamora Pierce's books including the Circle of Magic books. While Tortall is better Circle is still good. I just wish that there were more authors like Tamora. I'm a boy and I love Tamora Pierce's books. Go Alanna!

  • Loved all of Tamora Pierce's books!!! Though....I loved Trickster's Choice, Trickster's Queen, and Terrier best!!!!!!

  • I loved Trickster's Queen - Terrier is just as good! The cover of her new book to be "Bloodhound" looks a bit drag, if you know what i mean. Beka looks weary and sorta mean...strange! but i won't let it get me down!! ^^

  • yeah.. i wanted movies for a while.. but then i figured that there was no way they could make it as good as the books. But still, i wish they could.

  • Yeh I love TC and TQ too, I am rereading them at the moment and just still can't put them down!

  • if they made any of her books into movies I would be extremely happy...unless they really made it suck. :[

  • Terrier's the all-time best....Trickster's Queen sucked.

  • Ahh your crazy!!! Tricksters Choice and Tricksters Queen were deffinetly the best of her books. Well in my opinion anyway... i loved all of the spying and stuff.

  • Yea me2 .. I'd LOVE it!

  • i would love to see them only the same problem would happen with them as with the golden compass movie.... i wouldn't be allowed to cast the actors...

  • That I know of they had tried to make a movie before about Alanna and they trashed it so baddly the fans walked out in the middle pissed off becasue the only thing right was the names of the characters

  • yeah, but we can hope, can't we?

  • I love the books! Thanks a lot.

  • i thought the tammy was a guy...oh well

  • how could you!

  • Now...when are they going to make a movie?

  • It's been offered to Tammy but she declined because the contract had stuff in it that she didn't like... can't remember exactly. It tells you on her official website. :)

Hah my maths teacher is from Pennsylvania, and she has the same accent as T.P.! I think Tamora's from Pennsylvania? >.>

  • Aww...IT SHOULD HAPPEN THOUGH! HECK YES! O well, her wishes are her wishes. Good for her.

  • they aren't going to. She says she dosen't want her books to be turned into movies.

  • fair enough, chances are they'd butcher them anyway

  • I love Tamora. I haven't yet started to read it, but I do own it.

  • Tammy rox!! YAAY! awesome

  • I´m a Tammy Fan from Austria :)

P.S: I´ve already read her new book "Terrier" and it is marvellous (like all the other books)!!!
