Surely part of parenting is helping your child to be comfortable in the world and this includes making them familiar with technology. I read to my 19 month old son in the morning before I go to work and in the afternoon when I come home. He loves reading. But he also likes to play with my iPod and my PDA. And if he wants to look at the BBC Cbeebies website on the PS3, he brings me a controller and turns on the PS3! Being around technology is normal for many children.
