  • I am sorry, but I got confused when it comes to the prepositions, ON and At.

    You said that I can use ; At Christmas, On Christmas. Which one is right?

  • @2dmcconnon both. American English speakers will usually use ON while British English uses AT. Note: "Christmas Day" always uses ON- "On Christmas Day." (I recommend you Google "prepositions of time" for more info). Both esl.about[DOT]com and englishclub[Dot]com are good resources.

  • thanks for a good explanetion, its very helpfull.

    I ´ve got one Q relating to specific calendar events, holiday. In first part u said, we use AT with specific calendar events, holiday ( at christmas), but in 2nd part is the same answer with using ON with specific calendar events (on christmas)

    Could you give me more explanetion to this?
