The tutorial worked for me, but not really how I wanted it too. The picture did go in the sunglasses, but it doesn't look like a reflection, it just looks like a stuck a picture in there. Also, the paste wasn't clean, and I used the Expand modifier and everything. Is there anything I can do to make it look more realistic?
Just got back from deployment...sorry for the delay in response. Sometimes this happens when the original picture does not have enough resolution. To make the sunglasses more "real" you can try to tune down the opacity on the layer with the reflection. Also, try using the pen instead of the lasso.
What effect you use in your cursor?? That's fucking awesome!! Links?

I have photoshop elements 7. Mine doesn't have a layer mask. So what would I have to do?
Dhoketa 2 years ago
I can't link in comments but I have a video on real masking in Photoshop. Let me make a mental note to convert this video into an elements video.

what photoshop program did you use?
peterfireball 3 years ago
I used Photoshop CS3 Extended but the technique will work on any Photoshop that has layer masks. I think 6 and up will work.

hey, you should do anyother one on how you can make it look more of a blue to match the other lens in the sun glasses
