I agree that this version is better than that of Chad Kroger's, but it does not necessarily mean that Alex Band is a better singer. It just happened that Chad's super husky voice does not suit the song itself. Imagine Alex Band singing "Far Away" by Nickelback, it would sound awful.

i think the version of Alex Band is a lot better that Chad Krogel.I heard Chad's version and it's a little bit husky that it doesn't suites the rhythm of the song. I really prefer the powerful soft voice of Alex , it's a great song with a beautiful lyrics.
