There is a USS Wilkes that served at World War 2 and as a flagship with the Pollux and the Truxton, The Wilkes ran aground but was able to reverse engine to get off the reef while Truxton and Pollux suffered their end.
My apologize Phil. Just noticed your comment. Temp varies between low 50's to mid 70's at depth. It depends on the currents. Surface is in the low 80's.

Awesome video Johnny. What's the temp at the bottom there? It must get pretty sticky at the surface in a drysuit that time of year in Florida.
