repentance is not perfect...but i have a question: In revelation it says the cowardly will not go to heaven. Im afraid of what my friends will think and when people sin around me like using bad language dirty jokes...etc, I'm tempted to just go along with them. my conscience says i should walk away, but my feet wont move a bit. @wsc94balla I've been in your situation and still with my friends. The different is that I don't giggle on dirty jokes, and not doing whatever is sinful yet still being friendly. I still have my friends and they respect my stand in many things. They even stopped having dirty joke whenever I'm around. Coolest thing is they learned clean and funny stories with me and enjoyed it so much. Whenever any of them having problem, they come to me first for advices. Just quote advices from the Bible, Him.

This video put me to tears, I too was one of those people that 'claimed' to have been saved, but continued living a life of sin. Today after watching a lot of videos i realized i was not practicing righteousness but i was practicing sin. That i was not a child of God but of the devil. But today, the Lord had saved me, because i repented all of my sins. I ask that whoever is struggling right ow with sin and temptation, just to call out to God and he will come into your life. If you allow yourself to be drawn into God's Kingdom because of His love, you will be there because you know it's what you need. If you are compelled by fear of hell, your conversion will be insincere because you are only trying to escape something, not grow into something. It saddens me that so few believe or understand that. Hell is self-made, both here and in the hereafter. God is not a monster. He doesn't hate anyone. He sees sin as an illness which needs to be treated. God loves ALL of us.
Ask Jesus to reveal to you how much He loves you. When He does you will know it is Him. He has His ways of leaving us doubtless when He wants to get our attention. When He does you wont beable to deny it. He is humble and gentle enough to show you all though you have hated Him, because He loves you more than any human on this planet could possibly comprehend. He already shed His blood for you. He can take the hard questions you have toward Him. God wants real people and not religious fakes.
You know when a person has truly been saved through faith in Jesus Christ because their life will completely change. The hatefulness they had toward Jesus turns into incredible love for Him. And the sin they once indulged in regularly they now hate. This can only happen by the power of God. I know that the world doesnt understand this but I cant deny Jesus because I know how He changed my life and the Bible confirms everything that has happened to me. You must be born again to enter His Kingdom.

I have never in my life done anything that would warrant eternal suffering, and I find the idea childish, as do I also find it childish for people to think they are forgiven for everything they've done just for believing the nearly impossible. An atheist spent two years trying to study the Bible and said after that it would take more faith not to believe than it would to believe. Plus all of the scriptures were made from manuscripts that dated back long before it was put together. Plus the Old Testament was already together and their are prophecies of Jesus coming all throughout it. Try Isaiah 53 which was written 700 years before jesus's birth. Isaiah 9

My head is not in the ground, rather people like this preacher have their head in the ground. Study your world and your universe. Were is god? @wsc94balla I've been in your situation and still with my friends. The different is that I don't giggle on dirty jokes, and not doing whatever is sinful yet still being friendly. I still have my friends and they respect my stand in many things. They even stopped having dirty joke whenever I'm around. Coolest thing is they learned clean and funny stories with me and enjoyed it so much. Whenever any of them having problem, they come to me first for advices. Just quote advices from the Bible, Him.

This video put me to tears, I too was one of those people that 'claimed' to have been saved, but continued living a life of sin. Today after watching a lot of videos i realized i was not practicing righteousness but i was practicing sin. That i was not a child of God but of the devil. But today, the Lord had saved me, because i repented all of my sins. I ask that whoever is struggling right ow with sin and temptation, just to call out to God and he will come into your life. If you allow yourself to be drawn into God's Kingdom because of His love, you will be there because you know it's what you need. If you are compelled by fear of hell, your conversion will be insincere because you are only trying to escape something, not grow into something. It saddens me that so few believe or understand that. Hell is self-made, both here and in the hereafter. God is not a monster. He doesn't hate anyone. He sees sin as an illness which needs to be treated. God loves ALL of us.

You know when a person has truly been saved through faith in Jesus Christ because their life will completely change. The hatefulness they had toward Jesus turns into incredible love for Him. And the sin they once indulged in regularly they now hate. This can only happen by the power of God. I know that the world doesnt understand this but I cant deny Jesus because I know how He changed my life and the Bible confirms everything that has happened to me. You must be born again to enter His Kingdom.

I have never in my life done anything that would warrant eternal suffering, and I find the idea childish, as do I also find it childish for people to think they are forgiven for everything they've done just for believing the nearly impossible. I don't believe Jesus ever existed, as there is no good reason to believe such. By reason I mean truth and insight, not wishful thinking.

He knows thats impossible because of our fallen condition. But He is still just in His ways and must punish sin. Thats why He came down into our world and took the punishment that we should be getting eternally. He didnt have to do that for us. That is the kind of God and King I want. One who is willing to die for me.

He hasnt chosen that but He has chosen to save some out of this corrupt humanity for His Glory. He will get the glory because He is the only one that can open your dead spiritual eyes.

Only God can save you. I hope He does. Either way every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus as Lord on the judgment. @garretthenwood - I do not need to be saved, I am in no despair. Even though I am alone in this universe I do not feel alone. Others who think as I do will carry my torch. They need not think what or as I do, but only have a sense of beauty and mystery in the universe. I don't need to hate myself, I'll leave that to the self-loathing Christians who think they are dirt in God's eyes. You live in a tiny boring state of mind, I choose more.

@stevenweir76 Anyone can profess to be spiritual. There is a true spirituality. And Jesus doesnt force anyone to believe in Him. All God has to do is take away the spiritual blindness that is caused by sin and when He does that you cant help but go to Jesus for salvation. When you know the truth you go to it. People are disconnected from God because of sin and God doesnt have to do anything for a person to walk straight into judgment without their sins being washed away by faith in Christ.

@stevenweir76 Because people are infected with sin and are cut of from God they will naturally hate Him and choose to go the other way. God doesnt need to force them to do that. And if He opens up a persons heart to see their crimes against Him so that they ask for forgiveness then that is grace which is undeserved. The problem is that you dont know how truly evil sin is in the sight of God. Look what it has done to our world. You notice that the more people push God out the more immoral it gets

To love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Also to love your neighbor as yourself.
If everyone obeyed these two commands this world would be a lot different. But for some reason it doesnt happen and thats because people are sick with sin. Thats why we need a savior to heal our hearts. God chose to place the penalty on His own Son instead of us. You reject this gift from God.

Everyone is in this boat because we have inherited this sin nature from Adam when he disobeyed God. Gods laws are for our own good. You dont rebel against God. Thats absurd. Adams sin threw the entire universe into Chaos and what you see now is the result of one sin. Thats how bad sin is. Instead of throwing away His creation He has chosen to reconcile people to Himself through Jesus.

How then, is it that babies are born with original sin despite the fact that Christianity teaches that one should not be responsible for the sins of the father. This makes no sense. Again, you should see how your beliefs don't coincide with reality, they don't even coincide with your own doctrine, they are somewhere in between. Its what happens when a person is severed from God. Though sin is in us when you are connected to God again you will see Him as you should and you will begin to hate sin and strive for good. With your thoughts, actions, talk, etc... If I took a recording of all your thoughts over the past few days you would be quite embarrassed. Sin is in you.

What is in the heart comes out of the mouth and in actions and the heart is bad. Just because you are happy does not mean you are right. Im sure people who commit crimes are happy when they do it. Its easy to be happy when you dont believe in sin and God thus freeing yourself from all accountability. You will still die and have to answer Him.

I think the Bible is a work of imaginative fiction, just like the Qur'an , the Talmud and the Bahavat Gita, which predates your Bible significantly. THey are superstition, folk tales that were commonly taught when the Bible was created, that is the history you deny.

You just fail to study it to find out if thats really the case. Like most of your assumptions about the Bible. All of the so called contradictions that people think they find are due to a lack of studying the scriptures context. Their really is absolutely no contradictions found in the scriptures.

An atheist spent two years trying to study the Bible and said after that it would take more faith not to believe than it would to believe. Plus all of the scriptures were made from manuscripts that dated back long before it was put together. Plus the Old Testament was already together and their are prophecies of Jesus coming all throughout it. Try Isaiah 53 which was written 700 years before jesus's birth. Isaiah 9

UNderstand this, I know it's difficult, but I have read much of the Bible, I have rejected it as a source for anything. I believe it is fiction. Tell me why you don't read the gospels of Judas and Thomas with such zeal, the Bahavat Gita and the teachings of Buddha predate the Bible, only the Qur'an and Dianetics are newer.

Manifest destiny of Jesus is not even remotely impressive as the prophecies put forth were not even fulfilled. Including Jesus saying the world would end about 2000 years ago according to Matthew. Where is the gospel of Jesus? Why leave his words open to interpretation, and translation. It fails on so many levels.

Anything and everything about the story of Jesus can't be traced. Everything. The skies never went dark for a whole day around the world, there was never a global flood. The chronology of the Bible does not go back nearly far enough and it sounds like Moses was talking to a volcano. It's all crap.

@garretthenwood - The feelings you have were also felt by many who never professed to love Jesus. Every religion has anecdotes such as yours. I too have been through a personal crisis, and for me the wonder and beauty of the universe, the realization of how insignificant my problems were, and the love I felt from others were all I needed to get through. I have never spoke to God, I wouldn't know how. And those who say they have I believe they are talking to themselves.

I thought I was but my actions proved I wasn't. I didnt even know I was lost until that day that I came to the realization of my sins and my need to be forgiven by God. It is a fearful thing to be spiritually blind. Nobody knows they are spiritually blind until you have had that blindness taken away.

My head is not in the ground, rather people like this preacher have their head in the ground. Study your world and your universe. Were is god? Think about the message in these videos and ask yourself: is such a being likely to exist?

If god truly exists, there is no way he is as lyrical as us small minded people, or the priests of the dark ages and forward that overshadow the actual meaning of the bible with their pathetic lyrical interpretations.
If god exists, heaven and hell are not physical places, but perhaps the state of your soul in the afterlife, hell being living with the regret of your past life.

Do you know that the Bible gives detailed descriptions of Heaven with physical MEASUREMENTS included? Who measures a metaphorical place? I think if one really reads the Bible, one must either conclude that it is a clear message to mankind, or a complete waste of time (and then use their "small mind" to create their own fantasy for comfort in sin.
