  • Hahaha! Omg pause the video at 4.03! Brick-shit banzai!

  • It must be the best feeling to be in the band from 3:17 onwards.

  • 3:20 ---> Many Tornadoes have been generated by the hair of Thordendal, Lövgren and Mårten, causing infinite headbanging!

  • My Asshole began the process of COMBUSTION when this song started and I then began to bleed from my Urethra as my rectum became a FUTURE BREED MACHINE and in a single PERPETUAL BLACK SECOND my titties became DANCERS TO A DISCORDANT SYSTEM and wrapped themselves around my neck as they grew eyes and stared at me with a very Rational Gaze, as they ate my pubic hairs in a LETHARGICAl and inSANE manner. After this ordeal I decided to shove the NEW MILLENIUM CYANIDE CHRIST up my asshole.

  • @Crippledbabyretard Shutup.

  • @Crippledbabyretard u are a dick

  • @Crippledbabyretard XD Me, too.

  • I think I like this more than the album version.

  • tomas hakke is a chuck norris son

  • Chuck Norris favorite band for sure

  • LOL, I thought they were making a live video in the RV? :P

  • the stage is workable, but far to small, must make for one hellish mosh pit....

  • Meshuggahs solos are something you can't understand. Something you've never heard before.

  • @HammerHeadedHammer Just so he aint raping things that are underaged :D

  • Unchartered 3 looks like a piece of crap.

  • AMAZING!!

  • I just watched a fucking Beyonce ad before this video played.

  • is hard to understand this musical genre in the begin

  • The same time as Haake runs Hot as Hell, he is Cold as Ice. There just is no other way to do this. There simply is no any other way.

  • they are gods

  • Trying to play Meshuggah is also known as "extreme counting"

  • @TMF58 no its known as extreme Clalculoalgebramathatics

  • the riff at 2:05 is what i would think is a riff for chaos

  • lol monorail cat in the tags

  • 2:30 that freaking riff! win

    2:55 that freaking solo! win

my ears are soo sexually aroused

  • They play at least at this time Line 6... and they play the same exact gear they do in the studio. They dont bump a guitar track here a bass track there... none of that.. and they are seasond player for the past 20 years +... They know how to record and they know how to play live cause they have been doin' it so long with each other. If ya join a band then stick with it if you know it's good yo!!

  • how is the live stuff better sounding than the album?

  • @TheChannalA because the album is old as shit, and amplificaton has come a long way in the past few years.

  • 3:19 makes me wanna rip a pony's face off

    !!!!!MESHUGGAH!!!!

  • This is what happen when u get 5 gods in the same band.

  • some more respect for dick lövgren please

  • @TheChrispablo We the Peeps, love Dick!!!

  • @TheChrispablo The bass tone is fucking massive, deserves lotsa love!

  • @TheChrispablo met and chatted to him after the last gig they did in Birmingham UK, hes a legend! and hes such a BIG MAN! his head is like 2 of my heads! propper Nord. sick bassist.

  • @TheChrispablo You´ve heard his jazz?

  • Tomas Haak is such a beast

  • *jizz*

  • 1:07 proff that Fredrik is from the future

  • anyone else think he sounds slightly like LOG's randy blythe?

  • @drummersquirrel22 dont you mean randy blythe sounds like jens kidman ?

  • @Valfore22 either or, they're both sick as fuck vocalists.

  • @drummersquirrel22 dude he does! thats awsome

  • @stewartbarnes15 when kidman is recorded, he is absolutely original and no one beats his sound, i think its just him live sounding like good ol randy!

  • @drummersquirrel22 Jens is definetly original, In the song pravus when that huge riff hits towards the end and jens has that like 12 second yell, it gives me shivers

  • @stewartbarnes15 absolutely, my favourite member of meshuggah has just got to be tomas hakke though, his drumming makes me shit my pants everytime!!!

  • @drummersquirrel22 oh indeed, he is probably one of the most talented musicians out there. How he can play bleed live perfectly, as well as most other songs, is beyond me.

  • @stewartbarnes15 you know bleed originally wasnt going to be on obzen simply because it was insanely hard to play, it took him months to perfect it. i'm a drummer (the name sort of gives it away i guess), but i can only play the first rhythm and second rhythms perfectly now, and that's taken me aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages. Anything else he plays i just give up on.

  • @drummersquirrel22 In an interview tomas said it took him a few months to learn the whole song. If it takes fucking tomas haake months to learn a song its got to be one crazy song. Also i play drums too, i cant play much of bleed i am in the process of trying. I can play the beginning riff for like 2 measures before i screw up. Plus i only have DW 3000 pedals. Im going to save up for some axis pedals soon, possibally get them for christmas.

  • @stewartbarnes15 Yep it took him months to learn the song, every part of this song are fucking difficult!

  • I love the video from this song, and i love the air drumming on that video C:

  • Meshuggah is amazing!

  • that song sounds even better than on the album!!

    sure they have outdone themselves!

  • that song sounds even better than on the album!!

sure they have outdone themselves! hooray

  • I want all of their cum in my fucking asshole.

  • DCHALF1O

    UR A LOSER ,

  • My God! I NEVER get tired of New Millennium Cyanide Christ! I LOVE this song -- it's ridiculous! This and Stengah get me EVERY SINGLE TIME...the power of those men... Incredible. Cerebral music.

  • @EB1089

    shed ? :P

  • only tomas haake is allowed to have double stacked cymbals

  • Wow, i'm indeed jealous, my guitar player and I don't have near this balanced of a sound live. When he goes into the solo, you can clearly here both guitars!! Rythm and lead. That's what happens when you can afford a great sound- tech dude!!

  • This thing all things devours:

    Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;

    Gnaws iron, bites steel;

    Grinds hard stones to meal;

    Slays king, ruins town,

    And beats high mountain down.

    It is this song.

  • the last breakdown is absolute chaos.

  • 4:08 to the end. fuck.

  • mr haake is a fucking beast !!!!

  • I wonder how many billions of tax dollars and which underground laboratory the government made THESE MONSTERS IN??

  • @Meshuggaaaahhhhh I don't know but it was worth every penny

  • @Meshuggaaaahhhhh Aahahah! When I saw them in Vancouver, I remember something happened with the drums (a cymbal stand was falling, or something), and the drum tech had to go on stage to fix it. My only thought was "NO! Don't go that close! Mere mortals can't SURVIVE that close to Meshuggah!!"

  • @Meshuggaaaahhhhh Dollars? You mean Swedish krona, right? Only Scandinavia can create such polyrhythms...!

  • His vocals sound a bit lower than on the album, then again, 10 years of brutality can do that to do.

  • Jesus effin Christ, what teh FUCK is the crowd doing? LOOKING????

  • @Thamn0S They don't know how to head bang to this, for anyone reading this and do not know how to headbang to this follow the snare.

  • @Thamn0S

    Being Meshuggah'd.

  • @Thamn0S this is kind of one of those bands i would rather just observe then watch, i mean i would mosh at bands like devildriver, lamb of god etc. but would rather watch bands like this, opeth, amorphis etc, might mosh to a few songs but will mostly watch (and headbang)

  • @quickyway1

Moshing is for the simple minded. I used to do it and then as I got older I wondered why and now I see concerts where everyone pumps fists in unision or throws horns up at the exact same time and I just think "what pathetic sheep". Nowadays I'd take a good spot in the seats over a spot in the mosh. You get a lot more out of the show when what you remember is the bands performance rather than your sweaty, noisy uncomfortable hr+ in a mosh.

  • @dchalf10 I would generally agree with that, but like quickyway1 said, this is a band I would just observe and groove too rather than mosh with a bunch of guys sweating beer from their pores. There are some bands though, like Cannibal Corpse, that have songs I can't resist moshing to. Hammer Smashed Face would be one of these songs. But prog bands like this... observe, definitely. The show is in the music and the men.

  • That's an insane tapping... Love it!

  • This rhythm is so confusing and awesome at the same time. MESHUGGAH!!!

  • This riff could crush mountains into dust.

  • I'm willing to bet that about half of meshuggah's hardcore fans are musicians, so I can see why some people don't understand how amazing meshuggah really are

  • Boring you cunt??? I bet the shit you listen to would give me jaw breaking yawn! Meshuggah is simply ( brutality in extreme excess of fuck you! )

  • To Mordadigsjalv..AND YOU WORK AT THE MALL...yOU bASIC FUCK

  • fucking epic

  • this singer sucks...

  • @on3n1ght3r666 Sorry dude but seriously this is fucking boring

  • @Mordadigsjalv LOL its just alot of chugging i know what you mean listen to Unearth they have a Pantera infulance

  • @Mordadigsjalv Nää.. men din mamma gjorde när jag hade kuken långt ner i hennes hals och hon försökte skrika "MER!"

  • @azynkron Well, I didn't know swedish metalhead speak like gangsta rap band

  • Ive been trying to find the perfect bass tone for months now. It's too bad Dik Lovegren already has it.

  • The easiest way to explain the difference in Polyrhythm and Polymeter is this: Say you overlap 4/4 and 7/4, if you play the 7/4 bit slower than the 4/4 so that every measure begins and ends at the same time, that's polyrhythm. If you play both at the same tempo so that they only align after 7 measures of 4/4 and 4 measures of 7/4, that's polymeter.

  • @kingsmountainview

Your explanation is simply put but correct. Although it must be remembered, in the context which is Meshuggah, their odd meters very often start over after an even amount of 4/4 measures; like in this song here, in the main riff, after 8 measures.

  • @kingsmountainview I get it now thanks for explaining! I had been wondering for quite some time now.

  • @thecravenator42069 hahahahahahaahahahahahahaaaa, pardon me

  • would have been better if he had sunglasses and singing into a pen!

  • @livindead152 ahahahahaha for sure

  • Fucking Polyrhythms??? How do they work???

  • @quj0r

I don't think there are actually any polyrhythms in this song. The whole thing is consisted of Polymeters.

  • @ChainsawVsGod I am musically ignorant. My apologies. =(

  • @quj0r

No problem man. Poly rhythms/meters are a really confusing subject.

  • @ChainsawVsGod Music??? How does it work???

  • @quj0r polyrhythms simply put, is just 2 or more different\independent rhythms played together...

  • @FinkFinx yeah nobody ever uses the term polyrhythm right. so many people think mixed meter is polyrhythm, and don't realize that it's actually something different, and much more difficult to play.

  • @FinkFinx

i'd disagree...its one overall beat that starts and ends the progression, you can see them headbang to it, but the beats you put in between those two are just alternating in location relative to the main rhythm...so technically, its not polyrhythmic...if you want actual polyrhythms, try Sol Niger or just any Jazz kind of music

  • @MilitantOldLady tell qui0r that

  • I listen to this song 63 hours a day. And I love it <3

  • JEns Has the best faces.

  • Cool Fredrick improv solo in this version.

  • it's not loud enough.

  • @CyValkarion

Too bad you don't have various possibilities to turn up the volume on your computer/speakers/headphones...

  • @faselblaDer3te Man, I cranked it and it wasn't loud enough. Maybe I'm just going deaf :(

  • Their Guitar solos are fucking beast xD

  • six asshole stupid bitch

  • I pause porn cuz they fuck to the same boring rhythm

  • hot damn

  • fuck yes for haake wearing a ministry shirt... although these guys blow them out of the fucking water

  • does the guitarist on the left use a compressor sustainer for that "synth sound"? that's so cool!

  • mentally minded mad motherfucking mad band !

  • The audio compression in this is terrible. Who the fuck mastered this? You can't even hear the drums properly.

  • man! sounds way better than the original HAHA, what glory!!!!

  • FFFFUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKK YYYYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH mother fucking bitchassmotherfuckers....

  • Dat snare.

  • @TiredBlueDragon custom built by haake himself afaik

  • the guitarists could play bassguitars instead of normal guitars ^^ fuck dudes the tuning is fucking deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

  • meshuggah>all modern djent bands

  • DRUMMER run the fuckin show

  • i wish there was an instrumental version of this... its so so EPIC!!!!

  • and as i thought drumming to this song was bad enough... at 1:38 he is playing ghost notes on the snare too... fuck

  • @MarkoMaddy As if you could do something better than this... Sad.

  • @Badalabandabad

i think in he actually meant bad as in badass...as ghost notes under these circumstances tend to cause aneurysms in normal humans

  • @warlockmohl @whothehelliskyle2 Ohhh! Haha sorry! Misunderstood it :). thanks for the heads up

  • @Badalabandabad yea hes definitley commenting on how hard the song already is to drum, hes not tryin to disrespect.

  • @MarkoMaddy That's Haake's thing, really. He plays ghostnotes on virtually every song. Look up some drumcams of him and take a close look, you'll see ghostnotes. I even saw him doing ghostnotes during Bleed on this DVD during a soundcheck clip.

  • @MarkoMaddy the drumming to this is fuckin lethal, that said it kills anything you possibly could do. And the ghost notes are to keep in time, alot of drummers that play polyrhythms do that.

  • Sympathy, Show and ""Flawless execution""!!!!!!!

    Horns Up!!!

    \mm/

  • Meshuggah, best live band in the world...no fucking question!

  • anyone knows whats the tuning on bass of this song i think is DROP C right???

  • @9rmetal no, its standard tuning... actually, i think its F standard.

  • @9rmetal nevermind, its A# standard.

  • @asmith1243 im new in this whole bass bussiness so forget my foolishness but thanx man :)

  • @9rmetal at the time this song was written, meshuggah used 7 strings which they tuned a step down Bb standard, but now they use 8 strings, which go all the way down to F

  • pure metal not with fucking core on it

  • the way metal is supposed to be

  • @kreatoromar hell yeah
