  • AWESOME job on this one as well, totally a favorite! Thanks a million for all these great vids!

  • And thank you for watching!

  • Very nice vid. Now makes me anxious for next year when we finally get these in. 4 are comming. I'm pleasantly suprised how well the packer keeps up with the amount of carts he does. Great job and keep 'em commin.

  • Awesome! :D Really love watching this truck at work, I think it's probably one of my favs. Love watching the side-on/frontish shots so you can see in the hopper, keep them coming!! :D A real bitch of a cul-de-sac at the start... I don't know why drivers bother with all the driving in / out?? If it was me I'd just get the truck in a good position, jump out, line up the cans, dump them, put them back and then drive off. Great job! Can't wait to see more...

  • There's actually a substitute driver here that just drives straight into this cul-de-sac, and then gather's all the bins and uses the external controls, basically using the arm as a tipper, and then he lines the bins back up and goes! Saves quite a bit of time really, but a lot of the drivers would rather stay in the cab than get done five minutes early lol!

  • In some cases it is more efficient to do that in smaller culdesacs i used to drive an asl and culdesacs were my worst nightmare LOL i hated them!! Now even with Curroto its still somewhat hard especially when people park there cars in the way.

  • Agreed on that one! The biggest problem with the cul-de-sac in this video is that big fucking class A RV parked in the middle of it!

  • Lol ya i hate it when people do that, it drives my crazy especially on a cold or snowy day.

  • Awesome job! 5 Stars! This is the 1st time I've ever seen a McNeilus M/A in action and I really enjoyed it!

  • Thanks!

  • wow that is one tough cul-de-sac to work through. awesome job to the driver and to you

  • Thanks...yeah, this cul-de-sac isn't too bad during the winter, cause those 2 motorhomes aren't there, but during the summer, those 2 motorhomes are there almost everyweek during the summer, so it makes this cul-de-sac a royal pain in the ass...

  • yea thats not so much of a problem in my part of southern california its illegal to park out in the street like that and the police hold up the law here so the drivers have an easier time through the cul-de-sacs here there biggest problem is that almost every one has a basket ball hoop at the end so they have to grab the bins and back away from those

  • Yeah, in my city, it is illegal to park anyy boat or RV on the street at all, and cars/trucks/suv's can only be parked on the street for 24 hours...however, in the nearly 6 years I've lived within city limits here, the police have only ever came through and issued tickets once or twice...

  • it used to be the same here but now the police go by my area about ten times daily!! because all the skaters and wanna-be gangsters that tag stuff around here

  • Yeah, my neighborhood doesn't really have that problem...There is an apartment complex in my neighborhood (you might be able to see it in the background in my vids sometimes) and their dumpster and dumpster enclosure got tagged several times, but that's the only problem place in my neighborhood, so the police only come by about once a month, and usually just hover around near that apartment complex!

  • lucky my house is right down the street from where the police cars fuel up so i see em all the time

  • Im assuming this truck has a hopper camera? Would be awesome if he would let you get some footage of that. He runs the packer just like I do, you can hear the little thump as he makes sure the blade is fully retracted just before the can is dumped, that way the trash spreads out as much as possible.

    Another excellent video!

  • I was thinking of asking him if he'd open up the door on the other side so I can get a shot of the blade quick, if he has time...

  • I have done that. The only problem is sometimes your camera will not agree with filming a hopper cam and it will turn out badly. That happened to me.

  • Man i bet he hates going into this col-de-sac. Good grief. Love the video, watched it a dozen times already. Too back you couldn't get some packer shots. Keep up the great work.

  • This cul-de-sac is a breeze when those 2 motorhomes aren't there and everyone parks properly...but with those motorhomes and all those cars parked incorrectly, it made it a real pain for him this morning...

  • With all that crap in the way it would be a pain even for me, and I know Im getting out of the truck anyway. At least this is a large cul de sac, I hate the smaller ones with parked cars.

  • I agree hopper footage would be great. For me in an REL I would just back-in to the middle and drag the cans to the truck. Same as i do in mobile home parks

  • Back when everything was manual here (before April '05) they used to do this neighborhood with an REL sometimes if all the spare MSL's and the regular MSL was down...Anyway, whenever they did this cul-de-sac with an REL, that's what they'd do!

  • very nice!

would love to see the curotto can aswell if possible!

  • Thanks! I really wanna see it too, cause I haven't seen it since they upgraded it to a Curotto Can II...but unfortunately, because of where and when it runs, it's no guarantee...

  • more more more do u have any other trucks there besides the two we have seen any way very very good videos thanks

  • There's 2 Wittke FL's with Curotto Can II's that I might be able to film later this summer, and a Wittke MSL that does the recycling sometimes...Next friday I hope to get a video of a HEIL FL dumping a 4 yard dumpster, too!
