Here's one of many verses: Heb 13:4 "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." Jesus said if you look on a woman and lust then you are an adulterer. Connect that with Heb 13:4 and you can know that God will judge you for lustful thoughts.

If you jump out of an airplane without a parachute you die because you attempted to break the law of gravity that would be your fault. He rose from the dead and appeared to over 500 witnesses 1 Cor. 15:6. We turn to Him in faith, but after repenting and putting our trust in Him we come to KNOW Him John 17:3. This is His doing.

God doesn't punish someone forever-they will be punished for a definite amount of time and then will no longer exist or be conscious. Just a little study and you can discover that so much of creation requires that the parts can only function if created at the same time. One cannot evolve without the other. Jesus said lust is the same as adultery and hate the same as murder. Having done those you would be lier, thief, adulterer and murder at heart and that is just breaking just 4 of the commandments. A good judge would not let a crime go unpunished. There is no 'good' person unless you are the judge, but you are not.

Some of them had dreams of people coming to tell them words of wisdom they never heard before & when the missionaries arrived they were amazed to discover that these native people were expecting them! God doesn't punish someone forever-they will be punished for a definite amount of time and then will no longer exist or be conscious. Some of them had dreams of people coming to tell them words of wisdom they never heard before & when the missionaries arrived they were amazed to discover that these native people were expecting them! Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."
I know about the koran and their view of Him. However, they are having dreams and turning from Muslim to Christianity.

@romanianskill You are missing alot of information. Look at it this way. You are a murderer and you are standing before a judge. You are right to a point that you should not bother being good if your purpose is to bribe the judge and undo your crime. A good judge will not let you go unpunished. However, someone steps in and pays your fine. The debt is paid, and the demands of the law are satisfied. Your case is legally dismissed. Now from a gratefull heart you will go and sin no more.

Of course murder (or hate in the heart which Jesus says is the same) is not ok... that is why the penalty is eternity in hell. Your attempt to be good or pay is just bribing the judge as I wrote. God was satisfied when His wrath was placed on Jesus on the cross, because it was more than a few hours of suffering... more than we can understand at this time. His shed blood is no little matter.

@romanianskill We all stand before the Supreme Court of heaven after this life so no one gets away with anything. God sees all, knows all, every thought, every motive, every action & we will all have to give an accounting on that day. Nobody can get to heaven on their own merit, we have all broken the 10 commandments! The penalty for sin is capitol punishment! Jesus received our punishment! Eternal life is a free gift, all you have to do is be humble, believe & receive by faith!

You go to a doctor and he tells you have heart disease and will die from it unless you take some medicine. First you are dieing because of the disease! Next you refuse the medicine. @romanianskill When someone understands and accepts the true forgiveness offered through Christ's sacrifice and calls Him as Lord of his life, it makes it almost impossible not to want to devote your life to Him and all He represents. Good works no longer become difficult, but those are not what get you into heaven. It's your total buy-in to Jesus. The santification process takes time and is not easy, but you are never alone any more.

Just so people know. If you go to the Great White Throne Judgement you are not saved but headed to the Lake of Fire. While the video is entertaining it is false. Those saved by the blood of Christ are not judged for entrance into God's Kingdom. They stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ (see 2Co 5:10) to receive rewards based upon how they lived life with the indwelling Spirit of God after being saved.
