Yeah for boobs! on a serious note-the world needs to progress. Figure drawing as a fine art is as much a science for those who honestly push themselves to become professional artists whether through collegiate/academic subscription or individual diligence, and perseverance. This type of material must be available to young students and even children alike-nudity is not perverse, people are. Nudity is the purest form of freedom.
You do a great job at showing that nudity doesn't have to be nasty. And here it isn't. It is clearly an Art form and I thank you for showing how you draw the way you do.
your study of the second life model is actually more engaging than the photo. watching the figure emerge is mezmerising here. fantastic. as for the flagging of a video like this, i can't imagine how someone might find it at all offensive.
I can draw with graphite, charcoal, pastel, colored pencils. Anything like that. Drawing on a screen is a huge peeve for me. I have tried it many times and it never turns out the way I plan. Although, I am still young at the age of 14 so I do imagine that I must practice. Amazing style of art. Realistic art is a bit out of my range at the moment.
I like the way you use a center line and other guide lines and then attacking the subject's angles and creating volume first before applying finality. I don't know if you have it already but I want to say that VIRTUAL POSE is also a great help for people who wants to learn figure drawing. Thank you very much for the video.

One time in my class a class mate looked at what I was drawing and he was said " OH WOW! why are you drawing that?!" ( I was life drawing a woman) and so I told him and he just kept saying "wow". Even though we are in art class he still did that, some people just are annoying and don't understand.
Hm I think you have quite solid knowledge of form and structure, but to improve your skill you should focus more on what you see, than what you know about figure construction. The mainproblem is that your drawings are not really matching the figures shown in the picture. That is causing that your figures have neither real connection to the ground nor a real statics. You can see that on your drawing of the woman with the ball. She seems to carry nothing in your drawing.

Is it different drawing on a computer than on paper? I see alot of the stuff drawn on the computer but I only draw on paper. I guess it is the same line work?
@zekehooper It is mainly an adjustment of hand-eye coordination. You have to look at a screen while drawing on another surface. Can be tough for some.

Nicely done but could be better.
1. Your models are 2D. It is always more difficult working with 3D, that is, live models.
2. Your final product has an artificial look. The drawn figures should look natural. Try using lines of different "weight"--not all the same thickness and darkness. Also, work on your shading.
3. You are using a fairly standard approach. It can also help to mark the angle of the bottom of the rib cage.
WTF... are you kidding me? I can't believe the comments below. I'd hope that they are not serious because this shows entirely the lack of insight into the study of art. If you don't have a clear understanding of the human anatomical structure, you CAN'T replicate or even approximate that structure in anything you create, in whatever medium. There will always be those that think this is lewd or crass... whatever. These youtube presentations are not only instructive but usually inspirational.
Art is not defined, many people learn, teach and draw in entirely different ways. For example some people start in the center, some don't, you don't have to follow every line, and you could never know whether someone has a sense of anatomy or not. People have moods and could freestyle whenever they feel need be, art doesn't have a set way to draw something, just because sycra didn't define every tiny detail in the woman's anatomy, doesn't mean s/he doesn't know anatomy..
Some people are so prude, I've been visiting the art school since I was 9 and we were drawing naked statues...I mean, the statue of David from Michelangelo is naked, is it supposed to be grose now?

Nicely done but could be better.
1. Your models are 2D. It is always more difficult working with 3D, that is, live models.
2. Your final product has an artificial look. The drawn figures should look natural. Try using lines of different "weight"--not all the same thickness and darkness. Also, work on your shading.
3. You are using a fairly standard approach. It can also help to mark the angle of the bottom of the rib cage.

WTF... are you kidding me? I can't believe the comments below. I'd hope that they are not serious because this shows entirely the lack of insight into the study of art. If you don't have a clear understanding of the human anatomical structure, you CAN'T replicate or even approximate that structure in anything you create, in whatever medium. There will always be those that think this is lewd or crass... whatever. These youtube presentations are not only instructive but usually inspirational.

Art is not defined, many people learn, teach and draw in entirely different ways. For example some people start in the center, some don't, you don't have to follow every line, and you could never know whether someone has a sense of anatomy or not. People have moods and could freestyle whenever they feel need be, art doesn't have a set way to draw something, just because sycra didn't define every tiny detail in the woman's anatomy, doesn't mean s/he doesn't know anatomy..

Some people are so prude, I've been visiting the art school since I was 9 and we were drawing naked statues...I mean, the statue of David from Michelangelo is naked, is it supposed to be grose now?
