Bravo!! This dance piece is truly amazing to me! I am so very inspired by your dance.. truly I mean it. I am a student of improv dance and I am so thrilled to find so many amazing moves within this piece.. truly wonderful. I hope when you watch yourself move on film you smile largely.. you are quite good :o)

Le mie impressioni:

noto una gran coesione e coerenza tra la respirazione della macchina, la respirazione umana e il movimento del corpo umano.

La totalità del lavoro (anche quello coreografico) mi fa realmente credere ad una bellezza sfiorente, ad una sessualità ormai passata ed illusoria.

Unfortunately, I don't speak Italian, but I understand your impression. I agree. This dance is very intense and requires excellent techniques in classic ballet and contemporary, like my own dance style. Thank you.

This is "Visage" by Luciano Berio. I once had an LP of this piece with Kathy Berberian, voice, Berio's wife at one time. It is a "tour de force" by one of 20th century's most imaginative composers (listen to his "Sinfonia" on YouTube. The periodic "parole" ,Italian for "words", suggests the emptiness of words.  "Visage" ends in a rush of white noise as if the universe were coming to an end. Could someone post the entire piece, please?

I'm not sure if posting Visage would comply with copyright, but you should be able to buy it on CD. What are your perceptions and thoughts about Narciso Dead? How do you feel about it? What is your involvement with dance? I would like to see your comments.

I like the dancer's interpretation of Visage. But I have no involvement with dance. For me, Visage is interesting as a musical adventure which explores every possible human emotion through Kathy Berberian's voice.
