K , this is for everyones good. GUITAR HERO 4 SUCKED BALLZ. The drum idea was good but you have to hit them SO FUCKING HARD. And the pedal was HORRIBlE. The guitar was a big kick in the nuts too! The whole slider thing was just stupid. The purple notes actually made it HARDER TO HIT THE NOTES THAT WERE CLOSE TO EACH OTHER! Overall the game was a total chode!
the bounce is suppose to happen m8, its made that way to resemble real drums to allow realistic rolls. If you want to fix the bouncing fix your embochure on how you hold the sticks :P , try ur thumbs , not bent on the inside of the sticks and keep your wrist sraight, when playing only use your wrist, and practice not using your arms as much, should fix bouncing/over hitting problems.
oh and also... you completely f***d up that intro. big time. and why the hell do u got lefty flip on?? if thats how u play it on ur real drum set, which u probably dont have, then thats understandable, but like i said earlier. you obv dont play real drums
Kudos on your excellent grammar (in the description) but you need to be better prepared for making a broadcast. Especially if you're going to call it "The Guitar Hero Channel".
when you hit the drums, you shouldn't rest your sticks on the pads....coming from an actual drummer, all it's gunna do is bounce around on the pad....in real life this would muffle the sound of whatever you hit....SO DON'T DO IT!!
You need to go to the RedOctain website and order a MIDI to USB conector and then you have to download a program on that website to tune the drums. As soon as you get it download the program and tune your drumset.
on my drums i have to press like a stomp on the foot clamp.. with pisses me off some times.. like its hard to hit the notes on time.. if anyone else is like this please tell.. cause i seriously think mines broken... thanks alot
These aren't problems, no offense but like you said you're not that good a the drums so you're probably not hitting it hard enough.
drummerd0od 2 years ago
im also a lefty. and on the 4 week of having the drum the yellow pad broke totally ruined but i got it fixed after a month

You can get a free Midi-USB cable from RedOctane, as well as a free program to adjust the sensitivities of all your pads.
I recieved my cable within a week of ordering it. You'll need to increase the Green's sensitivity and decrease yellow's.

i think the reason the drums fail alot is because they rushed the release of the game to compete with rock band and didnt fix the bugs in the drums

to see your games with a best resolution go to system settings, then in console settings, then in display, then in hdtv settings and try with 1080p.
your games will see best

in my opinion its working 100%

woogiepooh1995 3 years ago
yeah me too, i think it may just be low sensitivity on the pedal or something... I'm alright with it
reyrocks113 3 years ago
what is the problem?
jukejoint21 3 years ago
nice to know your problems lol but it is probably your drums that are messed up because there have not been any problems with them
Jones259 3 years ago
it might be the fact that lefty flip u play on (green pad) when swapping them around, you may have damaged it a bit
leegason 3 years ago
your just unlucky kid... your drum kit is fucked up.
adamjc2006 3 years ago
i'm still waiting for my tune up kit from red octane, my drums are all messed up, very frustrating.
hammer1978video 3 years ago
To avoid cymbal bounce hot the cymbal like a real drummer and just strike it cleanly once then move your hand away.
Jimbomiles 3 years ago
I figured out the problem. There is a user named duffman3 I think and it showed me how to fix it. Un-screw the back of the pad and put a
little tape on the round metal thing. I have to hit it not too hard and not to soft and it just works fine for me.
TheGuitarHeroChannel 3 years ago
the problem with the yellow pad is to do with your grip - this isn't the kit's fault, it's yours!
skwidbeek 3 years ago
wtf with that escenary!!!!!
elmarkis7 3 years ago
you should go to the store where you got and say that two of the pads is messed up. That would work out fine.
Jakelikesxbox 3 years ago
i dont see the problem with your yellow pad, there shouldnt be a problem since you dont get points off for hitting the note too many times
