I think it'd be interesting to have games where a human controls the strategy, but has a smart micro AI at hand to control the units, such as this one.
A human would surely notice earlier that it's time to find and destroy the workers, but might have a hard time doing exact Zealot micro.
the gas steal helped against hard coded AIs but in this case it was the fault of the green to NOT lead the troops properly: no retreat, no defend of choke points and they had both full vision of the map - holy ...

The move at 02:22 (retreat) from the red AI is great, i hope we'll see that in future games.

It wasn't the gas steal that decided the game. It was lowerlogic's (red) effective army strength estimation and retreating when necessary.
