@myloverdeath It just depends on the kind of clogging your doing. The modern is more like tap dancing in some ways but you are actually more heavy on your feet. And clogging is traditionally more of a folk dance. It evolved from folk dancing in the Appalachians from different cultures. The shoe is different too. The tap shoes have two taps on each shoes, when the clogging shoe has "jingle taps" that make extra sound when dancing. I took a little tap for two years before I started clogging. :)
