  • I'm starting to think that Michael Keaton's portrayal of Beetlejuice was inspired by this interview.

  • Jesus Christ, this is one of the best heel promos savage ever cut. Holy shit.

  • RIP Macho Man King of the Hicks lol How ya like that Boy....lol.....You don't like that do ya boy?lol

  • R.I.P. Randy

  • savage is the ted nugent of wrestling.can run off some crazy stuff off the top of his head.these old matches are great and show how different federations mattered.yes this includes wwf/wwe but in this time period it was just one of many not the only one.the different federations gave rick flair and all the other greats a better legacy.they wrestled all over earned what they got,not just one or two companys saying how great you are(mainly wwe),they went around and proved it.

  • ohhhh yeahhhhh

  • macho man needs to teach a class the art of cutting promos he was one the greatest at that these wrestlers now a days are boring at cutting promos

  • YOU DON'T LIKE LITIGATION NOW DO YA BOY?!!! That's the best part of this promo to me at the 1:52 mark...just awesome.

  • Whenever I saw Lawler & Savage together, I had the feeling that Savage would return to his Macho King persona and fight Lawler for the right to be called King.

They should have had a heel version of one of those angles in USWA where Savage went totally nuts like when Jake Roberts slapped Elizabeth or when Flair kissed her. Maybe have Savage start off helping Lawler against Gonzales & a big misunderstanding happening between them.

  • was razor ramon part of this?

  • this is too funny

  • LoL savage was the shit

  • lmao.

savage was unreal. the best wrestler and the craziest talker. nobody will ever see another another macho man.

  • This promo was beyond hilarious, and if I lived in Memphis at the time, I'd be racing to the box office to see this match. This was GROUNDBREAKING stuff.

  • OMG, what an awesome promo!

Randy Savage is probably the most underrated entertainer of all time. How Hulk Hogan became such a mainstream celebrity and Savage didn't, I'll never understand. No wrestler had the entertainment ability of Savage.

  • @kmg4 I agree totally. Savage had real charisma, Hogan's was manufactured by Vince.

  • @kmg4

I think it's because McMahon hates him and rarely mentions him, but he was one of the main draws for house shows in the 80s and early 90s, because Hogan only worked shows like Saturday Night's (and THE) Main Event and PPVs. I went to several house shows back then and never saw Hogan once. Savage was always in the Main Event. He just seems unappreciated because of WWE's cold shoulder, but he was a household name along with Andre, Sheik, Andre and Hogan. Regular people don't underrate him.

  • This is because people in Memphis did not have access to Cable TV technology in 1993.

They did not know that Monday Night RAW existed, where Savage, Lawler, and Vince were doing commentary as a trio.

  • what year was this

  • October 9, 1993

  • This was his Hank Williams, Jr. on crack phase.

  • u guys can say wut u want about the situaatioooooooon lol

  • Nobody does a promo quite like the macho man this guy has me splitting my sides with laughter !! Your a legend randy, out of the ring aswell as in it.

  • Funny!!!ROFLMAO!!! "Litigation!! You don't like litigation now do ya boy!!!!!"

  • nothing but gahbage LOL

  • Wow, incredible promo by Savage!

  • This is one Savage's most hilarious promos lol.

  • It's only a wrestling promo. Savage was just being a heel. And he was always great at it.
