Also, Michigan foolishly assumed that his scheme would translate without growing pains, They never let him coach those all-important 4th and 5th years when they'd be doing great. Now, admittedly, RR failed to get the alums on his side, but it was a pretty bad situation on both sides. Now, coming to Tucson, his expectations are WAY lower than in Ann Arbor

They are the nation's leader in atmospheric sciences and the world leader in climate change. A top 5 medical program, top 5 humanities, the 3rd best fine arts school in the country. The business school ranks top 15 for public and 23 overall. UofA just got 800 mill to lead the next NASA mission and is currently leading space research in the country.
