Mate, i know what i'm saying ! I do Muay Thai and BJJ in Chute Boxe academy in Brazil. I never said they are the same martial art
Yes, it means they are "the same on the ground" like a said 3 times, just the groung technique in BJJ in more solid and the emphasis of judo in throws is better. Both are about using leverage and momentum.
in the end we are saying the same thing.. u just don'e understand me.
@MrGeneralskruf Yes and No ! This is Judo, but read some about BJJ and Judo on the internet, u will see they are the same, judo came from jiu jitsu and BJJ came from judo ground game !
@tbg008 No. Just because Judo came from Jujitsu doesn't mean its the same. Judo had more of an emphasis of being able to re-use your opponent. Brazilian Jujitsu has more of an emphasis on grappling and ground techniques, Know your stuff before you speak it. By the way it's spelled Samurai not Samuray.
i dnt man its really all up to you. i just happend to do taikwondo first then muay thai. i would probably suggest taikwondo first just so you can get used to all the kicking thats involved with muay thai.
man i want to learn judo so bad. i already know muay thia and tae kwon do, knw i want to know a martial art that involves throwing and a little bit of wreslting.
and remember that choking and arm locks etc are only allowed to be performed by senior grades! Mon grade Judoka are NOT allowed to perform such techniques! Kyu and Dan grades only.
@freekert judo is just a simplified version of jujitsu (witch the samurai used in hand to hand combat when they lost their weapon.) the samurai killed people with it.

@Konvictedjeezy What part of "judo came from jiu jitsu" you don't understand ?
jiu jitsu IS samuray technique, and Judo is virtually the same on the ground, so it's samuray legacy !
