Why wouldn't you build in the off cue before you get to this high of an arousal stage of training? Please, Please PLEASE look up and study "backchaining" as it pertains to behavior chains in dog training- your training will go so much smoother and safer.

Yea, we never used harnesses. i was lucky enough to move in with a grand champion trainer, i got to see what was up with protection dog training and obedience, had i ran though that dog would have messed me up, and he was the pussy of the litter.

Seen this happen before here with us. Only the decoy wasn't so lucky> it pays to buy high braking strength rope and high qaulity clips. Personally I wouldn't have done this without the dog being on a harness rather than a collar.
