@zeldazoneman you may have forgotten the ISG (infinite sword glitch, just crouch stab right before you read a sign or talk to navi, the timing gets easy with practice) ... sorry about replying so late, because you probably figured it out by now, or no longer care....

@loafofbread300 actully what i was doing wrong was i wasnt flipping enough to the side. the hovers are way easieras adult and i think you would agree. right?

Can you get the mirror shield from outside as child, too? how many explosives would you need?

@GiantsMask I don't know about Child Link, but I did a test on that and I used ~25 chus, though that is not optimized. Assuming you planted a plant there and went on top of that rock thing to start your hover. It wastes A LOT of chus and requires Hover Boots (I think) which they skip in the TAS so...its kinda pointless.

Mirror Shield as Child Link without Slingshot, alternate, faster, more useful version by using a crapload of new glitches to skip the damn Hylian Shield for low% TAS or real life runs in every version of Ocarina of Time and probably Master Quest for the Gamecube or Computer ROMS that can handle Nintendo 64 Games for the Gamecube.

MrGrunz, how many temples did speedrunners succeed in completing as a child?

Also, i'd like to know you guys have made it possible to skip the shadow and spirit temple when speedrunning :) If you feel like replying, please do so on my channel page or in a personal message, as it is unlikely i will check this video again.

@MrGrunz Child Link is manly enough to do 7 temples with only bombs and bombchus. Who needs the bow, hookshot, and the hammer?

I think that you can complete all but the spirit and fire temples as a child because of the items you need to use against the bosses. Although im pretty sure that when you beat the water temple as a child the game crashes during the cutscene :(

No, are you saying you can crouch stab while Z targeting enemies? If not, how does this work?

all has to go very quickly. You can't crouch stab while Z targetting, but you can crouch stab and while crouch stabbing press Z and immediately C-up for Navi.

It's a little bit hard at the beginning, but with a little bit practise it gets pretty easy ;)

Yeah I was doing this the other day to get over the fence at Gerudo's Valley as child and not having to equip the slingshot becuase of the lag time when you pause, that's very boring in frame advance.

well, that should help but would u need a shield at all in the final battles? u can probably sideflip hover to Ganon's tower w/o collecting the 2 needed spirit medallions
