They fought through it though and showed everyone the great team they are. To suggest they had a cake walk through the playoffs is a absolute joke. Not only were the teams they played tough but they were the away team through 2 rounds. Hawks were the away team 1 round.

I was one of the few Pens fans who was actually cheering for Hossa to win. Not only because the Flyers were the opposing team (although I DEFINITELY didn't want to see them win it) but because Hossa is a great person and talented hockey player who deserved the cup.

They fought through it though and showed everyone the great team they are. To suggest they had a cake walk through the playoffs is a absolute joke. I don't know about you but that sounds like fair weather fans to me! Flyers, Rangers, Detriot, Toronto all have strong ticket sales by LOYAL fans despite the teams place in the standings. For everyone saying it was a freak goal or a cheap goal, you are full of shit. It was a fast shor from the side of the net...it wasnt a funny bounce, a bad call, a player error, ect. It was a goal for fuck sake. Just because the refs didnt see it at first doesnt make it a bad goal. It just stuck funny after it went in, but that had nothing to do with the actual goal. first of all we went through 7 different goalies this year,plus the injuries and still almost beast the hawks,if we had a goalie just half desent,flyers would of won it in 5 and chig knows it,so good break for the hawks,hope they enjoy it.just hope there not there with the flyers next year when we have a goalie cause they wont have a chance you can count on that!!flyers still the better team.but hats off to chig,but it wont happen again!!
