I got an HP Mini 1000 for just over $200 on eBay and hackintoshed it. It isn't the easiest netbook to install OS X, but it was pretty fun. Sound can now be patched with a KEXT, btw. But I do love my little HackBook
yes it can because of Mac OSX's compatibility with intel processors and the rest of the stuff for AMD processors and other hardware is bootleged into the downloadable install

It's highly illegal to install Mac OS X on a PC machine - You also need patches and alot of drivers

that is not true.. you have to buy an osx license and add a sticker with the apple logo to the machine and that makes it completely legal
