I am surprised to hear that anyone thinks his moves were immature and lacked flow...at any point in this performance. By the way, I never understood why the judges raved about Orser's artistry (over Boitano's, for instance) when he often looked like he was directing traffic.

In retrospect, it is hard to imagine judges not giving him wildly high presentation marks for such a sophisticated performance! He was still young, so I guess he had to wait for his turn...

@nondescriptnyc I disagree, the marks were excellent and completely fair for the performance. Some of the moves in the beginning were a bit immature and didnt make the program flow well. Those marks were high and he wasnt waiting his turn, but rather he was a level below Boitano, Orser, and Bowman at that time
